I wanted to update you and ask questions. I am hoping these questions will also help people on here.
I did the rna pcr and 4th generation on the 28th day. It cam back negative as you predicted.
I am a bit confused about the timing of testing. I have read in other post that I can be 100% sure I was not infected with hiv at this time. Is this correct?
Do I need another hiv test at 6 weeks?
I read that Dr. Hook said in another post that there were about 200 cases of hiv 2 in the usa. Do I have to retest for this? If this is true, it would be almost impossible to get infected.
It has been 50 days without any sores/ blister on my penis. Can I have unprotected sex with my regular partner without fear of infecting her? Do you think it is safe.
I want to put all this behind me.

Dr. Handsfield and I have both assured you that your exposure was no risk, that you did not need additional testing and informed you that future posts may be deleted with no answer. I will provide a single answer to your repetitive, anxiety-driven post and then close this thread. You need to put this all behind you and I fear that our answers are only feeding your unwarranted anxiety.
