Hello I just need to you clear point 2 for me that my doctor has taught me do you agree with him ? .
And can I just follow point 1 for rest of my life . Point 1b is also important
1)doctor hunter says : Just dont have unprotected sex or share drug injection and you will NEVER get hiv , hepatitis b or hepatits c or stds or other blood borne infections
1b) to CLARIFY above statement in point 1 drug injection equipment means Hollow needle with syringes attached ONLY !
1c) sharp objects such as lancet prick cannot cause hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds or blood infections even if lancet has wet or dry blood or body fluids on it as they are NOT drug injection equipment .

2) I have one NEW CLARIFICATION my doctor says that needle sticks from hollow needles NEVER caused hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds or blood borne infections not even to health care workers when they get it immediately when removing hollow needle from patient during injection or blood draw and get needle stick
Why ? Because INJECTION is needed to cause hiv hepatitis c or blood borne infections you must PUSH PLUNGER OF SYRINGE so that blood gets injected into you
So needle sticks cannot inject blood into to the body and that’s why no one gets these viruses from needle sticks
Which my doctor has verified from the medical literature and has 30 years experience on these diseases
Do you agree with My doctor ?
I just want to move on right now sir just need your approval

This is a highly repetitive question. Repeating your questions will not change the answers. I agree with Dr. Handsfield that "Just dont have unprotected sex or share drug injection and you will NEVER get hiv , hepatitis b or hepatits c or stds or other blood borne infections". And yes, injection is needed to push infected material into you to cause infection. I agree with your doctor. You need to move on. EWH---

Thank you for you reply but this first time I’m asking about NEEDLE sticks from hollow needles which you have answered in brief I could not find much information so that’s why I need to agree with my doctor
I need you to answer each point so that I move PLEASE
1) continuing from question 2 from my previous post have you understood what my doctor has said that needle sticks from hollow needles DO NOT cause hiv or hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds or other blood borne infections
That is when health care worker (nurse doctor etc ) get immediate needle stick from withdrawing hollow needle from patient during injection or blood draw
There are no such proven cases to anyone
1b) my doctor says one must PUSH PLUNGER OF THE syringe to cause hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds or other blood borne infections
Because when you push plunger of syringe blood is the pushed from the Syringe and goes into your vein that’s only way we get these viruses
1c) needle sticks from hollow needles on the other hand CANNOT INJECT blood into the body and that’s the REASON Why NO one gets hiv or hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds to other blood borne infections from NEEDLE STICKS
So there are NO such proven cases and all Of this is verified from medical literature and so I won’t be the first to get infected
2) when doctor hunter says don’t share drug injection equipment
What does drug injection equipment mean ?
I’m assuming it means ONLY hollow needles and syringes and NO OTHER OBJECTS

1a. Theoretically, a needle stick with a hollow needle which occurs immediately after drawing blood from an untreated, HIV infected tperson could infected with HIV. The occurrence of such a bit is very very rare.
1B. Pushing the plunger greatly increases the risk of infection.
1c. Repetitive, see response 1A above.
2. Correct.

I thank you for replying to each point but we are talking about
You intially agreed with my doctor so I want to be clear
1) needles sticks from hollow needles as mentioned by my doctor has NEVER caused hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or blood borne infections
Because needle sticks cannot INJECT blood into the body
That’s immediate needle sticks when health care workers get from patients
There are NO proven cases DO YOU AGREE ? As you did in first post
1b) in my Orginal post I said PUSHING plunger of syringe is needed to cause hiv or hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds or other blood borne infections that’s what my doctor says
2) in your last reply above you said theoretically that means no one has been infected from needle sticks with hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or blood borne infections
3) different question: for discarded hollow needle with or without syringe attached no one has ever been infected from needle stick also with hiv and also hepatitis c or hepatitis b or stds or blood borne infections
How long the virus survive in needle is not important
4) to conclude if I don’t have sex or share drug injection equipment
I will never get hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or stds or blood borne infections
4b) in point 4 above DRUG INJECTION equipment means hollow needle with syringe

4c) we DO not get hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or blood borne infections or stds
From sharp object like lancet even if immediately some cut himself with it then I got pricked by it
Or gauze if person had cut on finger got wet blood on it and Applied it on my wound
Assuming the person who applied gauze or pricked me with lancet was infected with these viruses
5) PLEASE NOTE : we are taking about VIRUSES hiv hepatitis b or hepatitis c or other blood borne infections
And also CAN YOU JUST AGREE needle sticks DO NOT CAUSE hiv or other blood borne infections
So that I forget about NOW
Plz verify all this so that I can move on I have great confidence in you
Take care bye

Final responses. Any future repetitive, anxieity driven questions may be closed without a response and without return of your payment. You need to move on. I recommend that you discuss your unwarranted concerns with a trained counselor.
1, HIV and hepatitis can be transmitted through needle sticks by hollow point needles which contain the blood from an untreated HIV or hepatitis B infected person. Pushing the plunger down increases the transfer of infected material, increasing the risk for infection
2. There are instances in which needle sticks have transmitted hepatitis b or C or HIV
3. See reply to number 2 above
4. a, b, c. Correct
This completes this thread. There will be no more answers to this or future posts on this topic. EWH
