[Question #10182] Brief oral sex and female ejaculation on genitals

Thank you for taking my question. Went to what I thought was going to be a no intimate contact domination session. I received oral sex for about 5 seconds from a female dominatrix. I Stopped it quickly and took a shower. Later in the session she masturbated in front of me. She had a female ejaculation and sprayed much of it splashing on my genital area. Once again took a shower. Am I at risk for std's? If so, which tests would you suggest taking and how long would you advise to wait til I test?  Thank you.

Welcome back to the forum. Thanks for your continued confidence in our services.

This question has similarities to your previous ones a few years ago. Once again there was no intercourse, although in this time the risk was somewhat higher:  receiving oral sex carries higher risk than the events you asked about in the past, but still very low chance of any STD, especially with only 5 seconds duration. Female "ejaculation" is urine, which rarely if ever transmits any STD -- and certainly genital fluids or urine onto the genital area is no risk. I do not suggest any STD testing of any kind in these circumstances. You really needn't worry at all.

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Dr. Handsfield, thank you for your thoughtful reply. I certainly feel better hearing from you. Out of an abundance of caution- to calm a unquiet mind, I would still like to test. Which tests would a nervous fella order? And if you can please tell me the window or waiting period for each test it would be greatly appreciated.

If you feel you must test, I would strongly recommend against the sorts of "comprehensive" STD panels offered by many labs. If you really must do it, have only a urine gonorrhea/chlamydia test, which is valid any time more than 3-4 days after exposure. All blood tests are for infections truly impossible in this situation, but if you insist, have blood tests for HIV and syphilis, but not sooner than 6 weeks after the event. For sure no others:  all the rest in such panels are simply not reliable:  in people without symptoms, neither a positive nor negative result can be trusted. ---
