Hi,I am a man 36 yeaes, went to a message parlor. She gave me a handjob unprotected, licked my chest and touched me all over. I fingered her vagina vigorously for around 5mins (with my unprotected middle and index fingers). she put on the condom on me .Then we had protected vaginal intercourse (5-10mins). Condom stayed strongly to base entire time. After ejaculation She removed the condom using tissues and flused it into the toilet. I asked her if the condom was teared or broken and she told me nothing happened although I didn't get to check it myself. My penis was wet only around uthera opening with all the other parts remained dry from base to shaft and thought I was in safe zone, until I started getting below symptoms after 8 days.  * Lower abdominal pain 5 dys, * itchy all over body (still there from time to time), * Red patches come and goes, *burning like sensation on my fingers and penis tip (uthera opening) - sometimes still come and goes, *individual sores with clear liquid in two different fingers and couple of them in knuckles which healed in 6dys. *Unusual body heat (fever), *fatigue and join pains for around 5 dys. And with what's going on in my body, I decided to take a 10 panel STD test (Blood and Urine) after 17 days of this exposure. Test includes:> Clap, > gon.., > Syp.., > Hep A,B,C, > HSV 1, 2, > HIV 1 & 2 (RNA early detection Test)
At the moment HIV and HSV test results are pending and taking an unusual wait time.
What are the odds of catching me HIV or HSV from this incident?

I also on medication, taking Levicitrambi 500mg, telmizartan 40mg HCT, High dose aspirin.  Could those interfere my test results ?
She didn't seem to have any rashes or sores. But most Stds are asymptotic as I've heard.

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for your questions,.  I'll be glad to comment.  Even if the CSW you were with had as STI or HIV (this is unlikely, most CSWs do not have STIs), the encounter you describe did not put you at risk for STI.  Being touched, receiving or performing (i.e. "fingering") masturbation, being licked are all activities with no meaningful/known risk for acquisition of STIs.  Each of these activities is classified as safe sex by the US CDC and the WHO.  Further, condom protected receipt of oral sex, as well as vaginal sex are safe sexual activities as long as the condom is worn throughout the encounter and does not break.  Your condom did not break as when condoms fail, they break wide open leaving no doubt that they failed.  Further, if any STI was causing the symptoms you are experiencing, your tests would be positive- when symptoms are present, tests are positive.

No medications effect the accuracy of tests.  Are any of these medications new.  I think you need to look for another, non-STI cause of the symptoms you describe and new medications could do this.

I hope this information is helpful.  I am confident that the symptoms you are describing are not due to an STI.  EWH

Thank you Dr.Edward for that clarification. I have few more questions related to what I described here.
01.What if she had an HSV lesion in her tongue and when she lick my chest and around nipple area, can it transmit me HSV?
02.Same like if she had any HSV blisters inside areas of her vagina that has gone unnoticed by me and touched it while fingering her? Will it transmit me HSV though my finger skin? Or what are the odds of getting me any std in those methods?
I have read those stds are simply transmitted through skin to skin contact in most resources and this worries me.
03.The incident that I described here compared to an unprotected cunnilingus or unprotected fellatio,  which is more higher in risk wise and for which stds?
(Because she asked me to perform unprotected oral sex which i refused and then we moved on to have vaginal sex with protection as I thought it would be much safer)
04.I know the test I took after 17days may not be acceptable for some stds depending on their incubation window period. Can you please tell me if I am to retest again what stds I should be focused on and after how long of the exposure,  that those tests can be considered as conclusive.?
I am trying to have a peace of mind.
Since my tests is being delayed I am stressed out. I appreciate your expertise knowledge and helping me for a some level of relief.
Thanks again Doctor

You are worrying entirely too much and your "what if" questions are not going to change the answer.

1.  Very unlikely situation and  still no risk.
2.  Still no risk.  Masturbation is safe sex
3.The activities you describe are lower risk than cunnilingus or fellatio
4.You did not need testing at all.  Your tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia are definitive at this time. If you were going to develop herpes lesions, the lesions would have appeared within 10 days of your exposure- you are well beyond that.  The results of blood tests for herpes are more likely to be confusing than helpful.  Tests for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis are all conclusive at 6 weeks after an exposure, particularly a virtually no risk exposure such as yours

You are worrying entirely too much.  Please stay off the internet. It will only mislead you as much of what is there is incorrect.  EWH

Dr Hook,
My 10 panel std check came negative for everything afterwards 17days of exposure. I persist flu like Symptoms.
Do you think I should take another test in case of happening a false negative.
The HIV test i took is from Stdcheck.com (HIV RNA early detection) they mentioned that their HIV test is conclusive at 11 days post exposure and accuracy remains 99.9%. As It detects virus itself. Is this test reliable?
If I am to re-check again what std test would you recommend me based on flu like Symptoms that I am having now. If it's covid I think I had enough time to gotten better.
For today it's been a month after my exposure. I wouldn't be this much worried if I haven't had any symptoms like this.
What are the chances of getting false negatives from those tests after 17 days exposure?
They (stdcheck.com - support consulting) told me to re-test after 42days of the exposure to which I am currently waiting on as I am having some questionable symptoms.
What tests are likely to be positive by this time?
I am planning to take the next 10 panel test on 22nd August. I will let you know those results as soon as possible.
I know that there is lower risk on the exposure I described but yet it's not zero. I've read instances that condoms failed even after worn properly. In my case I haven't gotten to check the condom and it kind of worries me with persistent symptoms that I am having.
Thanks for all the support you provide in the forum.

I would not be worried about a falsely negative test following your no risk exposure.  Rather I would work with your doctor to look for other causes.  Typically persons with symptoms test using a 4th generation, combination HIV antigen/antibody test.  These tests are virtually always positive in persons with symptoms due to HIV.  But, as I said above, I see no need for retesting.

I suspect the information that you are getting that is increasing your concerns is from the internet which is well known to be an unreliable source of information.  As I said above, I recommend that you work with your doctor to look for other causes of the symptoms that trouble you- they are not due to HIV from the encounter you describe.

We provide up to three responses to each client's questions.  This is my 3rd response.  I will leave the thread open so you can report your results but there will be no further responses to questions.  After your next response, the thread will be closed.  Please don't worry. EWH
