[Question #10312] Risk of getting HSV

I am just asking this question as I couldn't find any science based information regarding to this.
3 days ago, I was talking with a colleague at my desk (I was sitting and he was standing in front of me) and suddenly I felt a very minor twitch near my right eye. I was wearing glasses. Even though, I didn't see any visible large saliva droplets coming out of his mouth, I thought that the minor twitching was due to landing a tiny saliva droplet in my eye , coming out from my friend's mouth. after 2-3 mins , I went to washroom and wash my face with water and hand soap.
I checked his lips and there were no visible sores or blisters. Also he had a new baby 6 weeks ago. I am not aware of his HSV status.
I do not have history of any STI's and I got got tested for all STI's and all were negative (including a WB)
1. Can I get infected with herpes from a tiny droplet of saliva if it landed on my eye?
2. What if my friend is infected with hsv and had active sore at the time?
4. Is there enough hsv virus on a tiny bit of saliva to infect some one?
5.I have Seborrheic dermatitis( confirmed by my derma) and white scaly patches, on sides of the nose. Intermittently I get pimples like pain underneath these white patches (under the mid nasal passage).
I have a similar pain right now (I think Seborrheic dermatitis patch may be little infected). Only painful when pressing there . no burning or stinging or visible blisters or pimples. Can this be due to a HSV infection I get from this recent saliva incident (3days ago)? If I get a saliva droplet in the eye, can I be infected inside the nose? Shouldn't it be the primary site?

I don't worry much about white patches as I get them all the time (in summer and winter).
Appreciate your answer on this. thanks!

Well, first of all, we don't know that you got a drop of saliva in your eye. That seems unlikely to me, given you were wearing glasses.
2. What if my friend is infected with hsv and had active sore at the time?
Did you see an active sore at the time? Like a cold sore?
4. Is there enough hsv virus on a tiny bit of saliva to infect some one?
No!

Whatever you are feeling near your nose is not HSV.
You seem to very worried about getting oral herpes. Can you tell me more about that?
