For background iwent to a strip club had a few lab dances. Then received a handjob with a condom on. No gential fluids exchanged. This happened back on July 21. I had urinalysis done the following week as routine work. It was normal, no signs of wbc or blood. My wife now had recent urinalysis done which showed leukocytes of 500 and protein in her urine. Urine is clear though and she has no discharge or ordor. I am very scared and worried that I may have passed something onto my wife from my encounter. I have been reading the forum, where comments stating that STDs cannot be passed by handjob. I guess I am overthinking this and fear and anxiety are getting the best of me. Thank you if you consider this question.

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for your questions. I’m glad to confirm your sense that receiving masturbation, even if a condom had not been used, did not put you at risk for any STI. That said, coincidences such as your wife’s abnormal urine test, understandably can make one wonder. Don’t worry however, you encounter was no risk and it is most likely that your wife’s abnormal urine reflects a minor, non-STI urinary tract infection than anything else.I see no reason for concern or even for testing.

Thank you so much Dr. Hook. So zero risk from the event? Nothing from that encounter can be passed to my wife and she likely has a non sti uti?
