Hello,
I trust your services so I’m here after a long time.
I’ve been with my current GF since July 1, 2022.  We’ve only had condom protected sex. We’re in our late 40s. She performed oral on me maybe 4-5 times that’s it. I perform oral on her a lot.

I’ve noticed what appears to be dried white discharge in my underwear a couple times in the past couple months. It resembles dried ejaculation fluid actually. It’s not a lot and has only happened a couple times. I noticed it this morning. I haven’t had sex in a week but was aroused slightly before bed. I can almost scrape it off w my fingernail. Then I can wet my finger and put it on my underwear stain and it’s gone.

No pain, no burning or anything.

Anyhow: is that normal? Should I be worried about an STD?

I’ve definitely have been faithful and am sure she has too. She said she got her tests done at her yearly Gyno this past summer and said she’s negative. Although I didn’t see the results myself.

I was tested TWICE for HIV, Syphilis, and via urine sample for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and all were negative.
I tested:
 August 30, 2022
And
January of 2023.

 I started dating her July 1, 2022.

1) Do I have anything to worry about?
2) Could the urine tests be false negative?
3) should I trust my tests? I tested twice.

  • Welcome back to work forum. The situation you described is not something that I would worry about. It is not at all unusual for men to have a small amount of genital secretions appear overnight. Sometimes this takes the form of nocturnal ejaculation while at other times this represents the accumulation of normal genital secretions which are present in most men and vary in amount from person to person and from day to day. You’ve been tested with highly reliable tests, which are almost certainly not falsely negative and should be believed.

The abnormal discharge that accompanies STI’s does not come and go if anything worsens over time.   EWH

Ok thanks! That’s why I come here for details in context.

1) Can the bacteria or Gonorrhea or Chlamydia be transferred from touch such as: I shake someone’s hand, then use the bathroom and touch my penis or underwear or from my phone case etc??

2) how affective are condoms at preventing both C and G?

3) I’ve not been with my GF since being tested twice so I should be good? Correct?

Straight to your follow-up questions:

1.  No gonorrhea and chlamydia are not transmitted through transfer on a persons hands to another person's genitals
2.  Highly effective.  Condom protected sex is safe sex as long as the condom is worn throughout the sexual encounter.
3.  Correct.  You are good.

No change in my assessment. I encourage you to move forward without concern.  EWH
