Hello again, for some reasons I had to ask again.
Dr. Hunter, in the previous question you said "if you test positive one day", what does that mean? You scared me, did you doubt me? That's one reason why I'm asking again.
Let me summarize my story again: I think it's suspicious, but I had sexual intercourse. This was a gay sexual act by the way and there was no penetration He rubbed his penis against my anus but it didn't enter. After that we had oral sex and made love, There was no cum contact. Several days or weeks after this exposure I have experienced ARS-like symptoms such as skin rash fever joint pain neck lymph node swelling (I've never had a sore throat)
tests after exposure:
after 77. days hiv combo (ag/ab)
after 81. days hiv combo (ag/ab)
after 83. days hiv DUO ULTRA (p24+ antı hıv1/2)
after 89. days hiv combo (ag/ab)
after 92. days hiv DUO ULTRA (p24+ antı hıv1/2) and hbAg, hepatitis c, Vdrl
2 of the 3 doctors I talked to told me to repeat the test at 6 months because the World Health Organization recommended this. Is this true?
I couldn't find such a statement from the World Health Organization, but they say it exists and my tests are not conclusive.
One of them, a more educated doctor, says that my tests are sufficient and that I should not have any more tests.
what should i do please help!!

Welcome back to the Forum although I'm sorry that you found the need. As you may know, Dr. Handsfield and I share the Forum and on this occasion I happened to be assigned your question. To prepare to ask your follow-up questions I reviewed your earlier interaction with Dr. Handsfield and agree with all that he said. Your question is a bit repetitive and was answered by Dr. Handsfield when he said- "They are absolutely reliable at the times you were tested -- in fact you were over tested, because the AgAb tests are conclusive any time 45 days or more after the last possible exposure. The test results overrule all other considerations: no matter how high the risk of exposure to HIV at the time, and no matter what symptoms someone has, the test results can be relied with no exceptions. In addition to being conclusive at the times you were tested, the results specifically prove that your symptoms are not cause by HIV: it is never possible to have HIV symptoms and have a negative test result. It has never happened."
i am not sure what doctors you spoke with but anyone who told you that you needed additional testing is mis-informed. You have multiple absolutely conclusive tests and further testing would be a waste of time and resources. Be confident that you did not acquire HIV from the exposure you describe . You should also be confident that that any symptoms you experienced were not due to HIV.
There is absolutely no reason for further testing. You do not have HIV. EWH

thanks for your answer I repeat, yes, I'm sorry, but I'm REALLY VERY BAD, my psychology is broken and I'm afraid of hurting myself last, I want to live. I've read a few forum articles and people who are HIV positive get hives all the time. Some went to the doctor for this
and received a positive diagnosis and lately I've been having urticaria all the time. I'm tired of crying, Mr. Doctor Hook. I also have a few questions
1)My last sexual contact involved no anal penetration, just rubbing, oral sex and lovemaking. Are these too risky? Also, my partner confidently says that he is negative and he had a test 5 months before contact.
2) Do ITP and psoriasis affect the test?
3) I have been experiencing fatigue and petechiae for a long time. I suspect thrombocytopenia and could this be due to HIV?
4) Can I be sure that you are telling the truth and not just trying to make me feel good?
5) Does aplastic anemia affect the test?
6) A doctor told me that in the 3rd month test, we are looking for antibodies, not antigens. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Could it be that the antigen disappeared and antibodies did not form?
7) Does the World Health Organization say that people with immune diseases (except cancer) should get a 4th generation test in 6 months? I couldn't find such an article, I think it existed before.
8) Could I have AIDS? That's why tests can't detect it.
9) What if the virus was hidden in my blood or mutated or my white cells did not detect the virus?

Most people who get chronic hives do not have HIV. Dr. Handsfield warned you that searching the internet would likely mislead you but you appear to still be doing this. Please do not- much of what is on the internet is out of date, taken out of context, or just plain wrong. In answer to your specific questions:
1)My last sexual contact involved no anal penetration, just rubbing, oral sex and lovemaking. Are these too risky? Also, my partner confidently says that he is negative and he had a test 5 months before contact.
These are virtually no risk activities. Performing oral sex on an untreated HIV infected person (you do not know that your partner had HIV, he probably did not) would lead to HIV, on average, only once in every10,000 encounters, i.e. like performing oral sex on an infected person daily for more than 27 years
2) Do ITP and psoriasis affect the test?
Absolutely not
3) I have been experiencing fatigue and petechiae for a long time. I suspect thrombocytopenia and could this be due to HIV?
Thrombocytopenia is a laboratory diagnosis. Thrombocytopenia may be present in far advanced HIV but not recent HIV.. You do not have HIV!
4) Can I be sure that you are telling the truth and not just trying to make me feel good?
Absolutely. Not telling the truth would serve no purpose.
5) Does aplastic anemia affect the test?
No
6) A doctor told me that in the 3rd month test, we are looking for antibodies, not antigens. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Could it be that the antigen disappeared and antibodies did not form?
I can't interpret what you said. 4th generation tests for HIV detect both antigens and antibodies. It takes a bit longer for antibodies to appear than antiggens but they would have appeared within 6 weeks of your exposures. That is the reason tests are conclusive at 6 weeks.
7) Does the World Health Organization say that people with immune diseases (except cancer) should get a 4th generation test in 6 months? I couldn't find such an article, I think it existed before.
No the WHO does NOT say this
8) Could I have AIDS? That's why tests can't detect it.
If you had AIDS, tests would be positive.
9) What if the virus was hidden in my blood or mutated or my white cells did not detect the virus?
This does not have
Your posts suggest that you have been seriously misled and mis-informed about HIV. You do not have HIV. You need to move forward. If you cannot, you do not need more testing but to seek counseling to help you address your misperceptions. EWH

Thanks for your answers but I'm still scared because IAPAC says 5% need to be retested at 6 months and especially if symptoms persist. With your permission, I have a few last questions:
1) I probably have one or more of these diseases due to the symptoms I am experiencing:
ITP
TOXOPLASMOSIS
QUALITATIVE PLATELET DISORDER
APLASTIC ANEMIA
THROMBOCYTOPENIA
These are diseases that can be caused by HIV or AIDS, so do I have HIV or/and AIDS?
2)1 year ago, I had a blood test for my nose surgery and my complete blood count was
neut 36.70000%
lymp 54.50000%
PDW 12.00000% (VERY LOW)
I also had a questionable sexual encounter years ago and hese were my blood values when I was going into surgery and I was not tested for HIV. Was my low neutrophil and values count due to HIV?
3) I was given intravenous antibiotics after my nose surgery. Could the antibiotic have killed the antibodies and antigen of the HIV virus and left the RNA of the virus?
4)Does having an abnormality in my white blood cells affect the HIV test? Logically, wouldn't there be less antibody production?
I don't want to get tested again, I'm so scared, I'm in a suicidal situation! I see in my dreams that I am infected with HIV and I am even afraid to sleep
Is there any chance of me getting hiv? I'm sorry I gave you a headache, but I'm very bad. Help me. Can I get hiv even with a 0.001% chance?
I need to go to the hospital due to my condition, but I am afraid that the HIV test will be positive. thank you again doctor, sorry for the bad english and the word count exceedance.

The recommendations you mentioned are overly conservative and do not correspond with the scientific facts regarding HIV. Your results are entirely conclusive. Further testing is a waste of time and resources. Your results are not going to change related to the events you have described no matter when or how often you test. This will be my last reply. After that, the thread will be closed and you should not return to the forum with additional repetitive, anxiety driven questions. Brief answers to your follow-up questions will follow:
1. These diseases should be diagnosed by a doctor not based on your visits to the internet. There is no evidence you have any of them. Even if you do, most people with these conditions do not have HIV/AID.
2. No
3. Absolutely not.
4. No, to both questions
Your concerns are misplaced. I agree you should seek both medical assessment and counseling regarding your misplaced fears and anxiety. You do not need more testing for HIV but, if you w, I am confident that once again, the test would be negative. EWH
