Is there any data to date how long the Vaccine is effective? I’m curious if it’s necessary to be boosted (if there is one) after a year   Thanks

The duration of protection by the vaccine is unclear.  Current guidance is that vaccinated persons should get boosted at 2-10 years.  The very width of this time recommendation tells you just how little is known.  Certainly however, there is no need for boosting at 1 year.  In addition, I should mention that vaccine protection is not an all or nothing event.  Rather the protective effect declines gradually with the passage of time- the longer the time, the lower the level of protection.

Sorry I can't be more precise.  EWH
