About three months ago I received a handjob from a masseuse who used massage oil as lubricant towards the end of our session. To the best of my knowledge there were no wounds on her hands although there may have been some irritation on my penis as I masturbate between 2-4 times per day. October 1st, after sex, my partner, 51, menopausal, reported spotting and then discomfort/stinging around her vagina that lasted for approximately 10 days. In the last year, this spotting after sex has appeared approximately 1/3 of the time. We have sex between 2-4 times per month. The next time we had sex, October 18th, there was the same report of spotting and then stinging that was one one side of her vagina, close to the surface that developed into a more painful stinging sensation that expanded to include her anus. We have not been using lubricant and despite foreplay and noticeable wetness, it takes some care and time to enter her as I can feel some sticking. The discomfort grew to the point that she saw an MD today who said that it either looks like shingles or RSV2. Apparently there is some ulceration. I plan to get screened in the next 24 hrs but I would like to know your perspective on the likelihood that this handjob is to blame for this health issue. Thank you!   

I think you might mean HSV 2, right?  I hope that her doctor side a swab test of the painful area for herpes.  that would have been the appropriate thing to do, and if positive, it should be typed, HSV 1 or 2.---
