My encounter was from male massage licking of the butt crack and anus do not recall penetration from him as I tightened up my butt. Also he licked and sucked scrotum and inserted his finger in to my anus no penis in mouth. This was on 9/22. My anus and tailbone have been burning and hurting sometimes pretty bad. I went to doctor at 5 weeks exposure and got all test all came back negative except hsv1 from fever blisters. I went back two days later to get swabbed but the swabs were out of date so I’m going back this Monday to get anus swabbed. I see where hsv2 has not been seen by you 3 (receiving oral). Would the rimming be more receivable for hsv2. I don’t get any blood when I go to bathroom. I’m very worried that I’m gonna be the first at getting hsv2 from receiving rimming. Could he have put something on his finger (semen, saliva, blood  anything). I have also took doxycycline and cefexim for almost a week and it has not helped. My nerves are depleted because of the pain in rectum it feels like it’s up inside me. 

I also feel very nauseous a lot of the time

Oral sex would almost never result in an infection with HSV 2.  HSV 2 orally is rare, and even if it is oral, it very rarely reactivates there.  I understand that you anus is painful and that's pretty miserable but I don't feel like HSV 2 is causing this.  Also, HSV 2 does not cause nausea.  Since you already have HSV 1 in the form of cold sores, it is extremely unlikely that you would now acquire HSV 1 in a new location.  Its good that at 5 weeks post exposure, all of your other tests are negative, though based on the limited experience that you had, that's what I would expect.  I hope my reassurance can help you move on from this worry.---

Ms Terri my concerns are still hsv2. My rectum is hurting again and the thighs of my legs are also aching. I did the swab test and it came back negative at the first time it was hurting around 6 weeks. I’m having an extremely hard time with this. I keep reading about the rarity of hsv2 from oral would my exposure fall under that as oral, tounge to butt. I don’t really think he rimmed me in my anus. My pain is not in my anus it’s up in my rectum. I’m scared to death to get a test for fear of being positive. It’s been 11 weeks this Friday the 8th. Would that be long enough to be conclusive? In your opinion with the licking of the butt and possible anus and sucking on my scrotum and inserting his finger in my anus what do you think my chances are? I have made myself sick over this with nerves and anxiety. 

I still think the risk of you getting HSV 2 from receiving any kind of oral contact is just incredibly low.  I'm not sure how  to help you with this since you still seem to believe this is a big possibility.  ---

If it is so rare for hsv2 to pass from receiving oral/ licking in my case. How long could hsv2 live in ejaculated semen before the massage started and then be transferred to  my anus with a finger or other means?  Yes im referring to planned transmission of the virus . I’m awaiting my test results but my mind never stops. I
