[Question #10642] STI/other risk from activity

Received a handjob from a Las Vegas Stripper - no penetration, saliva and possibly genital fluids used as lubricant. Also fingered her, noticed a small scrape/cut on my hand after. Genitals were in close proximity, no penetration but possible brief contact. Is there anything to be worried about from this exposure and any reason to avoid sex with my current partner?

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your confidencen in our services -- and for a succinct question. My reply is similar.
Hand-gential contact is risk free for all STDs, even if genital or other body fluids are used for lubrication. Also no risk from fingering, and little or no risk from genital contact without penetration, especially if brief and superficial. There definitely is nothign to be worried about; no testing is needed and there is no reason to avoid sex with your regular parnter.
I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Can you confirm that the “little” in the “little to no risk” would only be for skin contact STIs (HPV, Herpes, Syphilis)? Thanks

There are no data on which to say anything more precise. It is easy to imagine a small theoretical risk for skin-skin STD transmission, but in my 50 years in the STD business I've never seen or heard of anyone with any STD whose only possible exposure was hand-genital contact. ---

Thanks- does the same apply to the potential brief genital-to-genital contact - ie theoretical risk for Skin-To- skin STIs only but low probability in reality?

Yes, same idea. Probably even lower risk than hand-genital, likely truly zero risk. No STD can be transmitted by fleeting, brief contact as might have heppened.

That completes the two follow-up exchanges included with each question and so ends this thread. I hope the discussion has been helpful. Best wishes and stay safe.
