[Question #10658] Struck by lightening - mutual masturbation

This question is a follow up on question #10649 and#10102 which I asked back in June/July. For some reason i can never re-login. I know I just asked questions about this within this week, but I can’t shake the feeling I’m the one struck by lightening and caught an STI from mutual masturbation. To review, back in June I had a STI scare. An STI doctor, my urologist and derm did not think I had an STI, only jock itch, and my tests were negative. They tested me for everything accept for herpes because I never had anything like an mark to swab. The tests were done because they thought theNegative results would do more to ease my worries than anything else. Tests came back negative I moved on. Dr Hook advised me to move on and helped me a lot
Flash forward to this week where I noticed a cut/Abraision on my penis the day after my wife and I had sex witch included a rough handjob. I had not noticed it the night before or during the sex. It’s on the top of my shaft Since my testing only my wife has touched my penis and it’s been months since my last mutual masturbation incident. The cut/abrasion is the size of a grain of rice or smaller. It is horizontal on my penis. In some directions when I feel it feels raised in otherS it does not. In some lights it’s flesh colored, in others it’s darker. But it’s definitely darker than the surrounding skin. It doesn’t really hurt The reason I am freaking out again is that I feel like it developed in a way a chancre develops as described on this site. It has never ulcered or anything but it did start off as a red mark but the more I looked at it the darker it seemed to get.Dr. Hook thinks that my fears are scientifically and medically unfounded. But I’m still having a freak out.

Outside of this mark I have no other real symptoms besides the ones I know are quietus driven like increased penis awerness, testicle aches, and “tingling.” Please tell
Me once and for all.
Am I off my rocker with anxiety? Does it sound like heroines, syphilis , or warts?

I'm sorry you are having trouble accepting the assessment of several trained clinicians who have seen you, as well as my assessment based on the information you have provided. You provide no new information here and thus it is illogical for you to expect any difference in my assessment. Nothing about your history or the information about your causal contacts suggests any reason for concern about STIs. Several comments:
I wonder if you have been on the internet seeking information. If so, please stop- much of what is there is incorrect for numerous reasons.
The area you describe sounds nothing like herpes, syphilis, warts or any other STI.
You compound your problems by using different user names which each post. Please stop- this serves no purpose and just makes our job more difficult.
If you think that a negative test would provide information which might help you move forward, please feel free to test for syphilis. It will be negative. There are no tests for HPV recommended for men and testing for HSV in situations like this is wrong as often as it is helpful.
You need to move on. Returning to the forum with more repetitive, anxiety driven questions is of no benefit to you or to others who come to the Forum for information. For that reason, we reserve the right to end repetitive, anxiety driven questions without the option of posting further questions and without plans to return your posting fee. Future repetitive questions may be closed without a response and without return of your posting fee. You have two follow ups remaining. EWH

Thank you for your prompt response and for your candor. While I try to restrict my internet related queries to hear only, I will do my upmost best to even slow that as it appears to not be working and focus on more work with my therapist.
I will trust your judgement and years of experience use my will power to recognize that any “symptoms” are more guilt driven than anything else. Given the vast amount of answers you provide about mutual masturbation I can understand one’s frustration with reacted anxiety-driven questions.
Thank you.

Let me add the fact that my colleague, Dr. Handsfield has published a book on genital dermatology in which, of over 300 pages, STIs are fully covered in just 15. This is not an STI. EWH---

Thank you again for everything. I will just add that after taking a shower to relax and refocus my attention away from this I noticed that the abrasion/mark was all but gone as I was doing my regular cleaning.
I know I let my anxiety get the better of me and I really thank you for the tough talk bribing me back to earth.
