Welcome
back to the Forum although, similar to the response to your last set of
questions, I’m sorry you felt the need.
I reviewed both our earlier interaction as well as your more recent
interaction with Dr. Handsfield and confirm all that was said. Specifically, the exposure you described DID
NOT put you at any known risk for HIV and your subsequent testing has
REPEATEDLY PROVEN that you did not acquire HIV from the exposure you have
described. Any continuing symptoms you
have are due to something other than HIV.
If your continuing symptoms are not improving and continue to trouble
you, I would advise you to seek the advice of your regular physician or an EAR,
Nose and Throat Specialist. Thus, in
response to your questions:
- Your tests are entirely, 100%
conclusive. In science no single
observation is 100% but when a finding is repeatedly confirmed as your HIV
test results have been, you can be entirely confident of the results.
- If your symptoms were
due to HIV, either the p24 antigen, the antibody test or, when results
return, your HIV PCR would be positive.
They are not. Accept that
you do not have HIV.
- NO!!! The ARS does not occur out to day
50. Virtually all ARS symptoms
occur by day 30 following an exposure.
Your
repeated posts suggest that you may be seeking information on the
internet. If so, please stop. As Dr. Handsfield already indicated, the internet
is full of misinformation, either because it is out of date, taken out of context,
or just plain wrong.
Finally,
I must point out that we reserve the right to stop answering repetitive,
anxiety driven questions. Your repeat
questions are falling into this area. As
a result, I will warn you that while you have two follow-ups remaining as part
of this thread, once it is closed further repetitive questions may be closed
without a response and without return of your posting fee. This policy exists out of concern for our
clients, nothing more. EWH
