[Question #10709] Terrified I infected daughter

Dear Drs,
May 2021 - pre-op MTS TS escort - french kissed, received covered BJ, and I masturbated her.
Wife was pregnant throughout. I had 6/7 negative tests (first one 4 weeks after (including throat swab), last one 5-6 months subsequent). Also received an eerie diagnosis of NSU 5 months after the incident, which didn't make sense to myself or Dr Hook.
My wife gave birth and all was ok. Both her and our daughter were given IV antibiotics due to a lengthy labour process (not sure which antibiotics). Daughter is now 2 and in good health.
Recently wife and I resume unprotected sex after 2 years with condom. Started having dull testicle pain last week. I am terrified of a ping pong situation - I was cured, she wasn't, and now it's back to me once we went unprotected again.
Yesterday my wife wiped our daughter's vagina and found small traces of blood. Nothing this morning. Two days I washed her vagina with my hand in the bath (not inside, more over the flaps/outside). I am terrified after reading a study which says gonorrhoea can be transferred by caregivers to children. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8308951/
1) What is the likelihood of latent infection in my wife for over 2 years?
2) Likelihood I have infected my daughter?
3) Would IV antibiotics after birth for wife and daughter potentially have cured anything that was there?

Welcome back to the Forum although I'm sorry to see that you continue to focus on a virtually no risk encounter more than two years ago for which there is no evidence that you were infected. I'm also saddened to see that you continue to search the internet for information which only misleads you. Straight to your questions:
2) Likelihood I have infected my daughter?
3) Would IV antibiotics after birth for wife and daughter potentially have cured anything that was there?
1) What is the likelihood of latent infection in my wife for over 2 years?
You are suggesting something for which there is no scientific evidence. In fact, there is evidence to the contrary. The situation you suggest is an impossibility.
2) Likelihood I have infected my daughter?
Absolutely zero.
3) Would IV antibiotics after birth for wife and daughter potentially have cured anything that was there?
There is no reason to think that your wife or your daughter was infected. If they received antibiotic following delivery however, those antibiotics might have very well cured any infection that was present.
You need help moving on. To do this I suggest that you speak with a professional, confidential counselor to address your guilt and its effects no search the internet or test. EWH

Thank you Dr for your candidness which I appreciate. I appreciate I have severe health anxiety and guilt based issues. But I can't help thinking that there is no smoke without fire sometimes. God willing, there is no fire at all.
The thing that really got me scared was the study I posted which said caregivers could transmit to children... This flies in the face of everything I have ever read.
Going by your comments now, and having previously seen Dr HHH say gonorrhoea is never transmitted in household situations.. does the aforementioned study contradict that?

The report was not a study. I described a single occasion and did not look into how the child acquired gonorrhea in any way. Past evaluations of this study have suggested that he origin of infections described in this way amount to sexual child abuse. It in no way contradicts what Dr. Handsfield and I have said- it is junk. EWH---

Hello Dr, I have tested negative for gonorrhoea after 2-3 instances of intercourse with my wife. Thank you
