I have had test done at 5 weeks and one recent at 10 1/2 weeks both were negative for hsv2. Is this good enough to stop worrying or would you recommend the western blot test also. I got results Thursday and was relieved, but now Sunday I’m second guessing the test results. I still fill pain burning sensation in the backs of my legs burning sensations in my rectum still come and go along with sensations of burning on penis this all comes and goes. I have struggled really hard with this time with nerves and anxiety . I got the right results of negative but can’t make myself believe it. Should I do the WB?

Do you think this igg test could have missed me and gave false negative?

I would say that the answer depends upon how much certainty you want.  The IgG test misses 8% of HSV 2 infections, compared to the western blot.  What are you thoughts about that?
Your symptoms, without any sores, make it unlikely that you have HSV 2.

In my experience, once a test misses a positive, it misses it repeatedly.  That may not always be true, that's just my experience
