[Question #10805] Scratches worry

Hello, i could not resist to seek medical advice to my worry so heres another one.
About 12 hours ago i was in a strip club having a lap dance with a female stripper. During this she scratched my lower waist both sides with her fingernails. I felt pain and stopped her but already red marks from scratches appeared. No visible blood or deep cut but red marks intense that sting with alcohol application.
Considering these, what is my chances contracting HIV or Hep C?
Taking the worst case scenario that she had done it previously to some other customers, and having blood or tissue from them, could this lead to an infection?

Welcome back to our Forum.  I'm sorry you felt the need.  On this occasion I happened tp pick up your current somewhat repetitive questions

Last month Dr. Handsfield told you "In the nearly 50 years of the known world wide HIV/AIDS epidemic, not one infection is believed to have been caught by a scratch or any other injury by or from an HIV infected person. Or by touching, even in the presence of later cuts or wound on the skin. Even if the person has HIV or other blood borne infection, there was no risk for you. Do not get tested and do not worry at all about this or any other similar contact with other persons."
I agree completely with this statement.  The answer has not changed in the past month.  This answer is also correct in terms of hepatitis C

These infections are not nearly as easy to acquire as you seem to believe.  These is no risk for HIV, hepatitis C or any other STI or blood borne infection from the scratches you describe.  Further, if she had scratched someone else before you were scratched. There is no medical or scientific reason for concern or for testing.

Thank you for you answer doctor.
I understand your point and i feel more calm. Although i dont know her HIV status, would it make any difference if we assume she had HIV and had previously touched her vagina or had any vaginal secretions to her fingernail?
I know im going too far but just in case to know your standpoint and risk.

It appears that your anxiety is getting the best of you.  As I said before, no risk for HIV, hepatitis C or any other STI or blood borne infection from the scratches you describe.  Further, if she had scratched someone else before you were scratched. There is no medical or scientific reason for concern or for testing. "  Thus, IF she had HIV, this would still be an entirely no risk event with no need for concern or for testing.

Please don't worry.  EWH

Thank you again doctor. Since i have one more reply i would like to ask a last question irrelevant with the first. I had a french kiss for about a minute or two with a girl of unknown HIV status but she seemed a bit weird. Anyway during kissing i felt a small sting and afterwards i noticed a very small red scratch on my lower lip probably from her teeth. No visible blood drained but seemed like a small puncture. Using alcohol after felt a bit stingy.
Now is this incident pose a risk for HIV transmission to occur? If for example is HIV positive and has also some scratch in her lips or gingivitis? Should i get tested?

I'll be glad to provide a final comment.  Frenc kissing is a no risk event for HIV acquisition.  I have no idea what the scratch on your lip was due to but I can assure you that it had no relationship to risk for HIV.

The idea that gingivitis and superficial lesions are a risk for acquisition is an internet fueled, unscientific myth which should be ignored.

Once again, I encourage you to move forward without concern
