Hello I have 3 questions
1
Saphilis test window period
After how many weeks should I test because I was reading it need 6 months to show up on the blood test
2- hepatitis c
When can I get accurate results after the exposure should I wait 6 months?
Or 12 weeks enough?
3 - hepatitis b
I was reading I have to wait 6 months to get the right results
I’m confused please let me know if after 12 weeks it’s enough of more test need to be done
I had my exposure 25 days ago

Welcome to our Forum. Thanks for your questions.  You do not say anything about the encounter that put you at risk so I will comment on test "windows":

1.  Saphilis test window period After how many weeks should I test because I was reading it need 6 months to show up on the blood test
The data recommending test periods of more than 3 months for syphilis testing are badly out of date.  Virtually all persons who acquire syphilis develop positive tests within 4-6 week and certainly be 3 months.  If you were tested at 3 months, you can be confident that you did not acquire syphilis

2- hepatitis c When can I get accurate results after the exposure should I wait 6 months? Or 12 weeks enough?
Hepatitis is almost never an STI, acquired only through receptive rectal intercourse and even then it is rare.  Negative tests at 3 months rule out all forms of hepatitis, including hepatitis C

3 - hepatitis b. I was reading I have to wait 6 months to get the right results.  I’m confused please let me know if after 12 weeks it’s enough of more test need to be done
Hepatitis B can be transmitted sexually far more effectively than hepatitis C.   Virtually all persons who acquire hepatitis B will have positive tests by the time 3 months have passed.

I hope this information is helpful.  If your exposure was 3 months ago and your tests are negative, you can be confident that you were not infected.  EWH

Hepatitis b / c can be transmitted through saliva?
And my second question about hiv test
I did hiv rna test after 24 days of my exposure and I did hiv 4 gen test both negative
Should I test again after 6 months? Because the cdc says 45 days but all of the websites are saying 6 months or more
My last question about hsv1/2
If I have oral hsv1 and my saliva contacts my penis is it possible to transfer the hsv to my penis?
And if someone saliva contacts my mouth is it possible to get hsv 2 ?
When can test for the hsv 2 ? After how many weeks?

You said Virtually all persons who acquire hepatitis B will have positive tests by the time 3 months have passed.
Is that mean I should test after the 3 months?
Because I want to get 100% results
Please let me know how many weeks exactly need to get the clear results

No, hepatitis B or C is NOT transmitted through saliva.

When tested for HIV using an HIV RNA test results from tests performed more than 11 days after exposure are considered conclusive.  Some experts conservatively recommend a follow-up 4th generation test 4-6 weeks after a negative PCR test but we have never seen or heard of someone with a negative test taken more than 11 days after an exposure who then went on to develop a positive test.  I would consider your results conclusive.  I see no need for additional testing.  The CDC tends to be quite conservative in its recommendations.

If you already have HSV-1 your saliva cannot transmit it to other parts of your body.

Unless you have symptoms, testing for HIV-2 in not recommended.  HSV-2 is virtually never transmitted through kissing or saliva transfer.

You have one follow-up remaining.  EWH

If you test at 12 weeks and have negative tests, the results should be considered conclusive and no further testing is needed.  EWH---

My exposure it wasn’t sexually
My exposure it was with saliva
I mean someone was chewing gum and she put her gum inside of my mouth
That’s why I’m asking if the hep b/c transmission through saliva because I was reading online it’s possible to be transmitted through saliva
What do you think?
And why there is no blood test for men hpv ?
I’m confused how can we test ?
Through oral  biopsy?
If I do oral biopsy and I don’t have any warts can the test tell if I have hpv or not ?

You have been warned by Dr. Handsfield.  I did not see that or I would not have answered any of these repetitive, anxiety driven questions.  Youshould go back and review the thoughtful responses you received from Dr. Handsfield - I agree with all that he said.  You are abusing the Forum.  Final responses:

Saliva exposure is a NO risk exposure for STIs.  Putting another person's chewing gum into your mouth is a no risk activity;

That’s why I’m asking if the hep b/c transmission through saliva because I was reading online it’s possible to be transmitted through saliva
What do you think?
NO RISK

And why there is no blood test for men hpv ?
IT WOULD NOT PROVIDE USEFUL INFORMATION

I’m confused how can we test ?
Through oral  biopsy?
SEE YOUR DENTIST>  YOU ARE WORRYING NEEDLESSLY

If I do oral biopsy and I don’t have any warts can the test tell if I have hpv or not ?
IRRELEVANT QUESTION.  NO RESPONSIBLE PCLINICIAN WOULD BIOPSY A PERSON'S MOUTH UNLESS A LESION WAS PRESENT

WARTS TYPICALLY TAKE AT LEAST 2 MONTHS TO APPEAR.

this completes this thread.  Please DO NOT return to the Forum.  If you do, the thread will be closed without a response and without return of your posting fee.  EWH
