Hello dr before I ask my questions I was reading your answers to understand more about hpv but right now I’m confused, dr hhh said the genital hpv are transmitted only by sex but also he said that common hand and foot wart’s almost never transmitted to the oral or genital my questions is
1- is it possible to get oral or genital hpv if i sucked feet ? I mean if someone sucked her feet before or she touched someone else genital before?
2 - common feet and hand warts is it possible to be transmitted to my mouth ?

I’m confused because I was reading online Genital hpv or warts different strains than the feet wart hpv, hand and foot warts transmit to the foot and hand These viruses have different preferences for tissue type or location is that correct?

I did my best to get answers from previous questions on the form but I didn’t get any clear answers
I’m sorry if I’m repeating other people questions but I want to understand the risk because usually I suck my gf feet and I never had oral sex

Welcome to our Forum.  Thanks for your questions.  I'll be glad to comment and hope that I can clarify things for you.  There are more than 100 different types of HPV.  Not all types infect the site sites.  Some HPV types preferentially infect the hands and feet, entirely different types infect the genitals or throat.  HPV is transmitted through DIRECT contact with an infected site- not in secretions, saliva or on inanimate objects.  Thus you cannot get HPV from sucking some else's feet, nor can you transmit HPV to someone else by sucking their hands or feet.

HIV is only transmitted by direct, unprotected sexual contact or injection of infected material deep into tissue with a needle.  HIV is not usually transmitted even when a person is exposed- direct injection of infected material results in infection such as with a needle stick transmitted HIV only once in every 100 exposures and sexual contact transmitted infected less than once in every 1000 exposures.  Testing for HIV is a blood test.  Test results for HIV are entirely reliable and conclusive any time more than 6 weeks after a potential exposure.

I believe these responses answer your questions.  To be sure:
1- is it possible to get oral or genital hpv if i sucked feet ? I mean if someone sucked her feet before or she touched someone else genital before?
No, it is not possible to get HPV this way.

2 - common feet and hand warts is it possible to be transmitted to my mouth ?
No

I hope this information is helpful.  EWH

Your dentist and dermatologist are incorrect. It would not matter if someone else sucked her feet before you.

The medications you are taking will not change your test results with 4th generation tests for HIV. EWH

I was reading on Cleveland hospital website about hpv and they are saying Oral HPV is mostly transmitted by oral sex and mouth-to-mouth contact. Someone with HPV carries the virus in their saliva and mucus. It can spread if that saliva or mucus comes into contact with an open sore or cut in their partner’s mouth
Is that’s mean the saliva can spread the hpv even with no contact? I believe you dr about the saliva but I’m confused

And there is a infection
Dr he told me that the feet sometimes transmit the hpv but highly unlikely
I’m nervous
Do you think I’m in risk ? That’s mean I can’t kiss my family or you recommend me to forget what they said to me? Please help me

This will be my final response.  Afterwards the thread will be closed and you should not return.  Should you return with further questions, your questions may be closed without a response and without return of your posting fee.

The statement you mention is an oversimplification and misleading.  As I said before, HPV is transmitted by DIRECT CONTACT with and infected site and is NOT transmitted in saliva or secretions.

Your doctor is being cautious.  The likelihood of you acquiring HPV from sucking on a partner's toes or feet is about as likely as being struck by lightning while reading this reply.  It is NOT a realistic concern..

You are not at risk. There is no reason to not kiss your family.  I recommend you forget about these concerns

This completes this thread.  No more questions.  EWH
