[Question #10895] Probably nothing but HIV risk from a comedy of errors for peace of mind

Hi. I had received a handjob from a woman which I know is safe. She was sitting on my knee. My knee was pressing on her vagina and I did thrust my knee on her vagina. 2 weeks and 6 days ago and had a nasty fall and my knee was badly scraped. It bruised over and a scab had formed since then. At the time of interaction some of the scab had fallen off, slight discoloration around it (white powderyness) etc. After a while , she moved away from the knee to continue the handjob. After 1 - 3 mins of post knee to vagina contact, we finished and she offered wetwipes. I without thinking, wiped my knee with it and accidentally used the same wipe for a second on my uncircumcised penis. It might have touched the head of the penis for a second or less. What are risk from the wound and me touching the wipe? Probably none but wanted peace of mind. Any other stds to be wary about? She is technically high risk as she works at a massage parlor and didn't speak english. She did use a translation app to say she doesn't have stds though not sure if I can believe her as language can be a barrier for testing

Welcome. Thanks for your confidence in our forum.

I agree with your own judgment, i.e. "probably nothing" (from the title of your question and the question itself). It sounds like your knee wound was healed by the time of the event -- but even if it had been fresh and open, I still would see no significant risk of HIV or any STI from this sort of event. I'm confident no HIV transmission ever has occurred from an event of this sort. Regardless of the knee problem, you really needn't worry and should not be tested for HIV or anything else (assuming you are not otherwise at risk).
I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Hi doctor, Thank you for the answer. There were no other events other than the handjob. The wound happened nearly 3 weeks ago. So it should be fully healed.
1. Here I assume covered in scabs and reaching the phase when scabs are falling off slowly is defined as fully healed. Am I wrong? Since the scabs are falling off, there is some softer skin tissue around the scab. Different texture as well. It is the signature pink color of the healing wound around a scab Does this cause any issues.
2. My other concern is the wet wipe I mentioned. 1 to 2 mins after the encounter, I used a wet wipe to wipe the knee and accidentally touched my uncircumcised penis for a second or 2. The head of the penis was probably touched with it for less than a second. Any risk here?
Sorry for asking again. I just want to abate my fears. This was in California

1. You are overly focused on the wound and its healing. This isn't important. As I said above, there would have been little or no risk for HIV/STI even if this event had occurred an hour after the injury. Your description of the injured area at this time is irrelevant.
2. The wet wipe and how it was or wan't used also makes no difference.
Stop overthinking all this. You were not at risk, period. Believe it, suck it up, and move on!
