[Question #10917] Massage Event again

Hi Doctor, I am sorry to bother you again with anxiety driven and a sort repetitive conversation question but coming back to get an expert opinion.
I had 2 massage related exposure. One 11 days back and another a few hours back.
Both was an erotic massage which involved no penetrative sex. It was more of a dry hump- her vagina with panties on over my naked penis. A couple of events from todays session worries me:
One: there was a moment where she touched/rubbed her vagina and then in the next second/ moment she used the same hand to massage the tip of my penis. I assume there was some vaginal fluid on her hand.
Second: she did licked my crotch with her tongue
Can you please assess the risk for me for all STDs. I am mainly worried about HIV.
Do you recommed me going to PEP for this?

Welcome back to the forum, but I'm sorry you found it necessary.

Your four previous questions also asked about massage, including erotic components that did not involve penetrative sex. The answers have not changed; once again you describe an exposure that carried no risk of HIV or other STDs. None of the events you described carried any risk at all. You do not need testing for HIV or other infections, but of course you are free to get tested if you would gain additional reassurance from the negative results. For sure you should not take PEP:  no reputable doctor or clinic would agree to prescribe it anyway, assuming you gave an accurate history of these events.

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear. Also please be aware of the forum policy against repeated anxiety driven questions that have previously been answered. You should expect this to be your last question on our forum until and unless you have penetrative sex with a potentially risky partner.

Hi Doctor, i appreciate your response and sorry about the repeated anxiety driven questions. I do enagage in erotic massages and try to be as safe as possible restricting myself to handjobs. But  this time, i was too excited and got carried away and what freaks me out is the episode of the therapist rubbing her vagina and then using the hands same finger to massage the tip of the penis. There was no time lag between her vagina rub and rubbing my penis tip. What if she has some vaginal fluid, wouldnt it get to urethra and then considering there was no much time difference between these 2 actions wouldnt it cause any HIV risk?

Also doctor can you please comment on the episode of her licking my scrotum? Would it result in any STD,s

I apologise for my anxiety driven questions and also appreciate your time and effort in answering this.

I understood the details of the exposure and your main concerns ("what freaked me out") and took them into account. My statement "None of the events you described carried any risk at all" includes both her hand contact with her vagina and then your penis and her licking your scrotum. Contact with skin anywhere on the body is risk free for all STIs and HIV; the skin of the scrotum is no more susceptible to infection than, say, the skin of your arm.

Can I prove there is no risk from these events? No, of course not. It is impossible to prove a negative. I also cannot prove you won't be hit by a meteorite tomorrow, but I would not advise you to take precautions against it. There has never been a reported case of HIV or other STI transmitted by such exposures. As I also said above, you are free to be tested if you would like still more reassurance.

Thanks Doctor for your reply. I decided against PEP but will test post 28 days for peace of mind.. its the 28 days of waiting that put me anxious.

May be a final question to this thread since i have your attention and hopefully i dont irritate you: if in future the only exposure is exchange of fluid during mutual masturbation, i need not get worried or tested for the exposure. Would that be the right statement to make?

I read somewhere in internet that there was a case of HIV transmission from sharing of sex toys between the individuals- if i am remembering it correct i have read this here in one of the question but i might be wrong. If thats true, how different it would be of this event where the girl right after touch her vagina proceeds rubbing the tip of penis  without much time of air exposure.

I know this would be your last response to this thread. Hopefully i dont have to return. Thank you doctor

"Would that be the right statement to make?"  Yes.

That there might have been a reported case of HIV transmission by shared sex toys makes sense. But individual case reports are published precisely because they describe rare, unusual, or atypical events.

In theory, specifically rubbing vaginal fluid into the urethral opening might transmit HIV. But it has never been reported to happen, despite what must have been millions of such events.

That indeed concludes this thread. Please do not post another question about this exposure (or the same type of exposure) or to simply report a future negative HIV test result. It is not the forum's role to repeatedly reassure people with the same questions, especially when anxiety driven. Therefore, the forum policy on such repeat questions is to delete them without response and without refund of the posting fee. ASHA (the forum sponsor) is not keen on accepting posting fees when the answers have already been given or are obvious. Also repeated answers to the same questions tend to prolong anxiety rather than relieving it. Finally, such questions have limited value in educating other users, one of the forum's main goals.

Thank you for your understanding. I do hope you have found this and your four previous threads helpful. Best wishes and stay safe.
