[Question #10943] HIV Test Remicade

Hi Doctors, my Last Post.
Question 1: Can Remicade, after 10 years, impair antibody production to the extent that none are produced? That was your response to a similar question: Question 123...Repetitive question. Humira-related failure to produce antibodies would end within a few weeks (max 4-6) of your last dose of medication. Additionally, HIV RNA would be present if you had HIV and were untreated throughout the course of untreated infection. You need to believe your test results and stop worrying, as well as stop testing.Question 2: Can Remicade reduce the virus to an undetectable level?Question 3: Are my concerns regarding HIV-1 and HIV-2 unfounded despite modern tests and high sensitivity? Would these tests still detect antibodies despite Remicade?

These questions are repetitive, answered in your three previous threads -- or the answers are obvious from those discussions.

From my reply in your second thread: "There are no drugs or medical conditions that have any effect on the timing or reliability of the HIV AgAb (4th generation) blood tests." The same is true of PCR tests -- but that's irrelevant anyway, since the AgAb tests are conclusive by themselves, regardless of PCR results.
From Dr. Hook in your previous thread: "Your results are absolutely conclusive and confirm each other. You...do not have HIV-1...and you have proved that you do not have HIV-2 with your 4th generation testing."
Infliximab (Remicade) is no exception to these rules.
Repetitive anxiety driven questions are not permitted. There will be no discussion and this must be your last forum question on these topics. Further similar questions will receive no reply and the posting fee will not be refunded. This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is intended to reduce temptation to repeatedly pay for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties rather than reducing them. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. Danke fur ihr Verstandnis.
