Drs..

A little over 2 weeks ago..recieved unprotected Oral from woman whom ive known for yrs.  Says she has no STIs.  I would also assume at sometime in the past 30 plus yrs ive had a cold sore.  not 100%  sure.  Anyway.  I think with in a day or 2 i noticed very red skin (blotchy) that started to peel a little, was shiny, and seems wet (clear) at times..no blisters...sometimes burns a bit but again..could be overthinking it.  This skin is where the foreskin would meet the glans..(im circumsized)...  It has been almost to weeks and has not gone away.  Any thoughts/Ideas would be much appreciated,  no other symptoms ie pain.  discharge etc.  Thank ya!

What you describe sounds absolutely nothing like herpes - more like a fungal infection perhaps?  Have you tried any over the counter antifungals at all?
I think you might give that a try and see how that goes for you to resolve this issue.

You are most welcome!  If you try the antifungals, how about letting me know how that works for you?  It takes a while to work fully - maybe a couple of weeks so don't expect immediate results.

Actually.  it seems to be working well.  no more "wet skin"  redness seems to be going away.  no peeling skin.  i just used normal over counter cortizone cream. .  Thank you for follow up

well, I would be very careful about using cortisone cream on the penis.  Too much for too long can be an issue.  I would recommend that you consider the antifungal OTC if this return
