[Question #11072] Symptom Feedback

On 3/5 I received unprotected oral from a CSW to completion. On 3/9 I had vaginal sex with my wife twice, about 3-4 hours apart which her and I did not fully cleanup due to us rushing around for our daughters athletic event. We finally were able to shower on 3/10 in the evening after a long drive home.
I felt uncomfortable down there all day 3/10 which is not abnormal if I do not wash after intercourse. But I couldnt help but wander if this was somehow due to contracting an std from the prior event. From that point symptoms continued. On 3/11 I ordered antiobiotics and started the course that day. I am not sure how much is in my anxiety for these reasons
1) Reading prior feedback GO/CH are extremely rare from receiving oral even from a partner infected in the throat
2) My symptoms have been slight tingling or menthol feeling in the tip of my penis, which did become more of a burn after starting antibiotics this comes and goes throughout the day and has never been present during urination
3) No discharge including while attempting to milk, urinating has seemed to sooth any discomfort in my penis, all discomfort is during high general stress or focused anxiety. No swelling or visible inflammation.
Based on the symptoms what are your thoughts? My main concern is contracting an std to my wife
Note: I began opening my urethra frequently to inspect

Additional symptom. On 3/10 I had a frequent urge to pee and a wetness feeling at the tip of my penis but this subsided by 3/11

Welcome to our Forum. Thanks for your questions and you implied confidence in our service. I'll be glad to comment.
You are correct. Among penetrative sexual encounters, receipt of oral sex is among the lowest risk and when infections occur, gonorrhea is the most common and when it occurs is typically symptomatic although the symptoms you describe are not those of gonorrhea. I'm sorry you have started taking antibiotics as they make future tests which I'm confident would show that you were not infected, less accurate. In response to your specific questions:
1) Reading prior feedback GO/CH are extremely rare from receiving oral even from a partner infected in the throat
Correct
2) My symptoms have been slight tingling or menthol feeling in the tip of my penis, which did become more of a burn after starting antibiotics this comes and goes throughout the day and has never been present during urination.
These are not symptoms of gonorrhea or any other STI. On occasion when folks are worried about STIs and start "looking" for any signs or symptoms they tend to notice otherwise normal sensations which are typically ignored and overlooked. The typical symptoms of gonorrhea are purulent urethral discharge and burning on urination. The symptoms of STIs, including gonorrhea do not come and go.
3) No discharge including while attempting to milk, urinating has seemed to sooth any discomfort in my penis, all discomfort is during high general stress or focused anxiety. No swelling or visible inflammation.
Repeated milking and self examination will only cause irritation and discomfort
The chance that you got an STI is miniscule. I urge you not to worry. If you wish to prove that you were not infected, you can test. I am confident that tests will be negative. EWH
