[Question #11094] I apologize. I promise this is my last question.

I sincerely apologize for posting a new question immediately. I understand the forum's policy and did not intend to repeat my questions. My last question was legitimate, as I was simply seeking clarification; I didn’t mention "scratching” and “nails" in my previous post.
Perhaps my issues arise from not being a native English speaker and my reliance on translation software for assistance.
As an anxious person, I've decided to follow your advice and opinions regarding HIV prevention. Therefore, I've chosen to avoid any penetrative sex and to accept events with very low risk, like those you referred to as having zero risk for all practical purposes. I promise this will be my last post. Should my unwarranted anxieties resurface in the future, I will seek counseling instead of returning to the forum. Please do not delete my question.
If I scratch and rub my eyes with my nails and fingers (because my eyes are itchy) immediately after fingering sex workers’ anuses and vaginas, my risk of contracting HIV from these events will be zero for all practical purposes, and therefore, I don't need to test for HIV.
If I pick my nose with my nails and fingers immediately after fingering sex workers’ anuses and vaginas, my risk of contracting HIV from these events will be zero for all practical purposes, and therefore, I don't need to test for HIV.
Do you agree with the above statements in bold?

Welcome back to the Forum although I do not understand the need. On this occasion your new question was assigned to me. I reviewed both your interaction with Dr. Handsfield recently and from a year ago. In those replies he answered these questions. The only way that you are at risk for HIV is if you have penetrated sex with an untreated HIV infected person or inject infectious material deep into tissue. HIV is NOT transmitted through the transfer of infectious material (secretions, blood, etc.) on one's hands to another part of the body, including the eyes- this is true even if there are scratches.
Thus both of the the statements you make above are correct.
