[Question #11142] Unprotected cunnilingus! Help!

Let me just say thank you for this website. It has helped a lot of us who need advice. I'm hoping you can help me with my situation and let me know if i am over reacting or need testing. On march 17 i had an encounter with a prostitute and it was brief protected blowjob and maybe 3-5 mins of unprotected cunnilingus. i regrated it 100% and before i dropped her back off in the corner i asked her "are you clean" she stated "yea don't worry about that" i went home and started thinking of all the possibilities and what if i catch something. I like so many others look on the internet and got scared that i possibly caught and std or HIV. 3 days later i found an Oralquick test and it came back negative and 5 days later i found a std/sti panel test that shows results in "15 mins" and it tested for Chlamydia, Gorroheae, trichonmoniasis, and mycoplamsa genitalium. all came back negitive. throughout the following days i have been checking myself for any possible symptoms as well as self examining myself and squeezing/"milking" to see if any pus or anything comes out. i believe i might of caused my uretha to get irritated because for a couple days it was stinging to pee and after the couple days it went away. i believe that was on day 10, on day 12 i wanted saw that there was a UTI test strip and wanted to see what my results would be and both were positive for Leukocytes and Nitrite. i was so worried that i looked up to see if this means i have an sti or std and as u might think i was scared again. but like i said the stinging pain only went on til half way thu day 12 and went away and i haven't felt it since. I do still feel as though i have like a numbing type of pain on the bottom part of the tip of my penis. On day 14 i tested again using the test strips and all 3 were still positive. i have an appointment with Planned parenthood this upcoming Tuesday for a full std panel done. Btw other than the stinging pee for a couple days i have no other symptoms.

i have had no pus no sore throat nothing but the stinging pain i explained above. my questions to you guys are
- is there a chance i have caught something. i know from reading this forum that it is unlikely to catch hiv but as far as std/sti am i just jumping to conclusions?
- this might help other people because i never saw if you talked about this or not but if oral was only performed would i be getting genital symptoms as well or only oral symptoms?
- did i possibility give myself a uti by constantly checking myself and opening my meatus and squeezing my penis to see if any pus would come out?
- Should i get tested? Also with testing should i ask for certain test or should i just do a full panel just cause i have never done one at all in my 26 year life.
- i do have a wife is it safe to continue sex with her?
- i have seen some of the answers you guys have gave and would like some clarification. If i was to have pus coming out of penis would it be continuously coming out or stop and go? also as of today it is day 15 would it be too late for symptoms to show at this time?

Also just got news like 30 mins ago i asked the girl from that night and she stated that she got tested within the last 6 months but just don't know if i should believe that. Im sorry if any or all of this is dumb but i just want to be safe and go back to my "normal" life. Thank you for whoever replies.

I should also point out that i have been urinating frequently but i don't know if that has to do with the amount of water i started drinking cause i saw you can flush out a uti by drinking alot of water. thats what im hoping at least.

Welcome to our forum. Thank you for your questions. I’ll be glad to comment.
The encounters you describe were very low risk. Your testing has proven that you do not have a typical bacterial STI which you might have acquired from receipt of oral sex. There is a low risk of acquiring, oral gonorrhea from performing cunnilingus, however that risk is very, very low. Your testing at Planned Parenthood should include a throat swab, and Will, I anticipate, confirm that you do not have oral gonorrhea. Other oral STI are not a realistic concern.
---As far as HIV is concerned, no one has ever been proven to get HIV from receipt of oral sex. As for cunnilingus, it is unlikely that your partner has HIV however there are a handful of reports of people acquiring HIV in that manner. However the calculated estimate of risk is that there are fewer than one infection for every 10,000 exposures, i.e. Like performing cunnilingus on an HIV, infected untreated, partner daily for over 27 years. I would not be concerned.
I’m sorry to hear that you have been examining yourself so extensively. It sounds to me like repeated, and possibly vigorous examinations are causing irritation. My advice would be to keep your hands off of your penis. I suspected if you do the irritation you were experiencing will improve.
I hope this assessment is helpful to you. EWH.

1. Very low. Please read my original comment
2. Genital infections may or may not be symptomatic. Oral infections are typically asymptomatic
3. Unlikely. This is probably irritation from repeated examination
4. You already tested. Repeat testing is a personal choice
5. Continued sex is most probably safe
6. This is rather late for STI symptoms. When symptoms occur they tend to be continuous and do not come and go
I’m unfamiliar with this test
All these answers were obvious from my original reply. You have one follow left. EWH

2. so hypothetically speaking, if I was to have oral gonorrhea, I wouldn’t show symptoms at the genitals? It would only possibly show symptoms in the oral cavity?
3. If that’s the case, that repeated examinations of myself would cause the irritation should I trust the AZO UTI test strips and their findings of positive leukocytes and nitrite?
4. So the test with oralquick and the sti/std test was not too early oralquick was day 3 and std/sti testing was day 5?
I understand this is my last replay, thank you for this forum it has helped cure some of my anxiety and hope to see negative tests so I can put this all behind me. Thank you again.

Final responses
2.correct. As already said, oral Gonorrhea is typically asymptomatic. I would not expect symptoms in the unlikely circumstance that you had oral Gonorrhea.
3. Leukocytes and positive nitrates could very well represent self inflicted irritation from repeated examinations
4. Your risk of HIV is extraordinarily low. While you tested earlier than is optimal, your chance of being infected in somewhere in the range of 1 in millions
End of thread. EWH
