[Question #11169] NGU? Or something else.

Hello doctors I am so sorry for doing this and I’m sure u are disappointed but I just want some answers from professionals like yourselves. As you know I recover the good news that I got negative results from my test that I did on Tuesday 04/02. I got the news on yesterday Friday 04/05. I was tested for gonorrhea chlamydia and trich. And again all came back negative.
On Thursday 04/04 I was at work and started to feel a stinging/burning pain in the tip of my penis. I went home and drank a lot of water and it went away after urinating. I have not felt this type of pain since day 10 and it randomly came back on day 18 and has gone into even day 20 which is today. I still do not have any discharge and when I’m urinating it does not burn. I’m wondering if all the vigorous I had done has caused irritation in the tip of my penis or if this might be something like an NGU.
My questions are:
1. What do you think could be the cause of all this?
2. If in the slight chance it is NGU (I already can assume ur answer) would my symptom of irritated/burning tip of penis be a symptom? Again no discharge of any kind.
3. Can I trust my results from my 04/02 that I do not have any of the stds I’ve tested for.
4. If I do have NGU would that affect my partner especially since it isn’t caused by gonorrhea or chlamydia. (Based off the negative results of my std test.
5. What in your opinion should I take to soothe the stinging/burning pain?
Btw when I’m at work and I’m sitting down is when it starts to sting/burn but when I walk around it goes away. It’s really weird.
Thank you for ur answers and look forward in talking to you guys. I’m sorry for doing this.

Also before I forget to add this in, Since day 10 I have had this feeling of urine seeping out I think some people call it dribbling. It’s like a sensation of pee stuck at the tip of my penis and it’s been there til now. Idk if this helps but just wanted to let you know.

The exposure you described was cunnilingus by you and a brief episode of condom protected oral sex. That makes it impossible that you have NGU or any urethral/genital STD.
---
---
1.Your symptoms almost certainly result from genitally focused anxiety, especially because they come and go. This is similar to the chronic pelvic pain syndrome, except for the "chronic" part (since that implies a longstanding problem). Google CPPS (spell it out); you'll find it is generally a psychological problem. You're obviously reacting to a sexual decision you regret.
2. No. Dr. Hook was the senior author on the main study showing that penile, urethral or urinary pain alone (i.e. without discharge) are not symptoms of NGU.
3. Yes, trust the results.
4. NGU from oral sex is believed to be caused by entirely normal oral bacteria and harmless for partners. And you don't have it anyway.
5. You could consider seeing your doctor if you would like another reassuring exam. Or just sit tight. Once you become convinced (emotionally as well as intellectually) that you have no infection, the symptoms probably will disappear.
No discussion, and no further questions about this exposure and your symptoms. As already mentioned at the end of your previous thread, we do not permit or accept repeated questions on the same topic, especially when obviously anxiety driven. This will have to be your last one; future questions on these topics and your inflated fears will receive no reply and the posting fee will not be refunded. This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is intended to reduce temptations to keep paying for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties rather than reducing them. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. Thanks for your understanding.
