81 days ago I received unprotected oral sex from a girl who lives in the US but comes from the Philipinies. I also inserted my fingers in her vagina. I may have had a minor cut on my finger. We kissed also. Approximately 8 weeks after the event it felt like i had a swollen lymph node. I went to two doctors. One said i might have a swollen node. The other said I didnt. I mentioned to the one doctor my testicle was sore. He gave me antibiotics to prevent STDS. At 10 weeks i had some body arm aches which continue on and off. Lastly, I was diagnosed with HPV many years ago.

I tested negative with the alere / abbott rapid duo at 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 weeks. All negative. I also had two insti (antibody tests) done week 9 & 10. Results were negative.
**Yesterday 80 days post risk I tested NEGATIVE with the alere rapid duo.

1.Regarding hiv-2 (which from reading on here is found via antibodies).
The window period range I have seen on here was 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 weeks, etc.
What is the correct answer?
Did I conclusively rule out hiv-2 with my 80 day test?(a few days short of 12 weeks)

This is an entirely repetitive set of questions which are over our word limit. You have been warned about repetitive questions related to the NO RISK encounter that you posted on both 1 and 2 months ago (questions 10976 and 10900, respectively). Your test results prove that you were not infected, not that you even needed testing. Your conclusive test results are conclusive for both HIV-1 and HIV-2.
This will be the only response you receive. If you return, there will probably be no response at all, simply closure of the thread without return of your posting fee. This policy is made out of compassion, nothing more. You are worrying needlessly and need to move forward. If you cannot move forward, you do not need further testing, you need the counseling of someone who can help you address your inappropriate concerns. I wish you the best. EWH
