[Question #11206] Hiv concern -pre cum in anal cut

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read and answer this. I will try to be very clear.
Recently I visited a transgender sex worker. About 1 hour before the visit I shaved around my anus hole. While shaving I caught the edge of my anus with the electric razor. It bled for a while and each time I wiped the blood away another large drop or two appeared. This continued for about 20 minutes or so and although it was by no means gushing it was consistently dripping. It had stopped before I met the sex worker and just looked like a Nick in the skin and not a very wide or deep cut. I assume the constant dripping earlier was due to the high amount of blood vessels in that area rather than the severity of the cut.
Before we had brief sex with a condom, the sex worker pressed the head of her exposed penis against my anus several times quite hard.
If the end of her penis touched my new cut and she had precum present, am I at risk of pre cum getting into the cut and HIV transferring into the cut and infecting me? Assuming of course a worst case scenario where the sex worker had HIV.
The cut did not require any medical attention and healed very quickly.
Would you recommend testing in this scenario?
Please let me know if you need any further clarity. Thank you

Welcome to the Forum. Thanks for your questions. I'll be glad to comment. Congratulations as well on your commitment to safe, condom protected sex. It will do much to keep you safe.
There is a lot of misunderstanding about the potential for fresh cuts and open sores to increase risk for HIV. There are biologicals reasons related to the body's efforts to fight infections like herpes or syphilis for the sores caused by these STIs to somewhat increase risk for acquistion or transmission of HIV infection. OTOH, non-STI cuts, scrapes, and abrasions are not likely to increase risk for infection. This is because they do not have the inflammation this is associated with infections present and it is that inflammation that increases the risk, not the cut/sore itself. I would not be concerned and do not see a need for testing
I hope that this information is helpful. EWH

Thank you,
Just to clarify I have understood ( I’m a bit stressed) precum leaving a penis and directly touching a fresh cut like the one I described is not something I should be concerned about or should test for?
Thank you
