Six months now and still having symptoms that driving me crazy, so I thought coming back to get answers from professional better than getting misled by the internet.

1- until now I still have joint/muscle pain, gums swollen, white tongue with metallic test in the morning, and so many others almost 17 symptoms.
Is it possible for HIV to have continuous symptoms, I mean my symptoms since the exposure didn’t disappear one day I get better the next day bad again, today I barely can walk with itchy skin and fast heart rate.
2- what usually are the symptoms of HIV positive 4-5-6 months after exposure.
3 -neurosyphilis can be detected by regular blood test?and why there is spinal test for syphilis if the blood test is conclusive.
4- is std are easy to be detected in urine and blood as well,?
5- is it possible for tests not being able to detect certain bodies?

I sorry for the long list but I’m trying to move on but I really can’t with all of those symptoms, done so many tests and doctors visits with no conclusion.

Welcome back the Forum.  I'm sorry you are continuing to have a variety of symptoms.  I appreciate your returning rather than going to the internet to seek more information.  I think the internet would not be particularly helpful in your situation.

I presume that when you reported that you had been tested at the time of our last interaction, your tests included tests for HIV.  That testing was performed more than 6 weeks after your virtually no risk encounter and if negative conclusively proves that you did not acquire HIV.  With that many and wide variety of symptoms, I think you would be best served by evaluation by a general internal medicine clinician.  The symptoms you describe do NOT raise any concern for HIV or any other STI.

2- what usually are the symptoms of HIV positive 4-5-6 months after exposure.
Most persons who acquire HIV are totally asymptomatic 6 months after acquisition of HIV.  It typically takes at least 6-8, and more typically 8-10 years for HIV to cause symptoms.  In addition, the symptoms you mention above are not suggestive of HIV at any time in the course of the disease.

3 -neurosyphilis can be detected by regular blood test?and why there is spinal test for syphilis if the blood test is conclusive.
Persons with neurosyphilis have positive syphilis blood tests.  As for HIV, if you had syphilis (including neurosyphilis) you would have had a positive blood test by the time 6 weeks had passed after the encounter you have described.

4- is std are easy to be detected in urine and blood as well,?
Yes, tests are very reliable.

5- is it possible for tests not being able to detect certain bodies?
No.

As I said above, I would suggest that you should see a qualified general internal medicine specialist to help sort out the symptoms you are experiencing.  I am confident that they are not due to any STI that you might have acquired through the low risk encounter you described in your original post.  EWH

Thank u for ur reply, I insisted on std because it only happened 3 weeks after my oral exposure with transwomen first time, before that completely normal,
Dose it make any difference if oral was from men or women risk wise?
Regarding the hiv tests I made more than 8 tests  combination of 4th generation and pcr hiv1-2 test and 3rd generation, last one 100 days after exposure Elfa and pcr, plus I had oraquick 5 months after exposure,
with ur long experience can I be 100% sure that I’m not infected with any hiv strain or groups?? Do u stand completely with tests with no doubts at all?
For syphilis I had 2 tests 28 days and 100 days vdrl-prp and TPHA are those also 100% accurate and there is no way I could have syphilis?
Regarding urine test also twice 28-100 days PCR that included 12 std all not detected, is there any possibility the pcr test missed something?
Lastly is hepatitis b-c also twice 28-100 days should test again or conclusive?

Sorry to ask but it’s killing me really, specially my regular partner complain from health problems and brings lots of fear in my heart
Thank you

I am confident that onset of the symptoms that trouble you are coincidental, unless they are in some way related to anxiety related to the exposure.

It makes no difference whom the oral was received from.  As I mentioned, there are NO proven cases of HIV acquired from receipt of oral sex.

If anything you have tested more than is needed.  Your results are entirely conclusive.  Further testing would be a waste of time and money.  There are no strains of HIV that would be missed by the testing you have had.

Similarly, your syphilis test results are also completely accurate and should be believed.  The same is true for your tests for other STIs, including hepatitis B and C.

You need to accept that your symptoms are NOT due to an STI acquired from the very low risk encounter you describe   Continuing to worry about STIs will only distract you from finding out what is really going on.  EWH

So many coincidences that are happening after my exposure, please notice that I had inflamed gum early days too, what do u think doctor I’m really lots, I want to believe on my tests but this is more than I can take it drives me crazy, should I take more tests ?

This is a repetitive question.   I do not deny your symptoms but the evidence is that, WITHOUT A DOUBT, they are not due to an STI, including HIV.  Please reread my responses above.  Repeating the question is not going to change the answer.  Your tests are reliable and should be believed.

This is the final response as part of this thread.  There should be no need to return.  EWH
