1) Are my results conclusive or do I really need to do an additional test?
2) In your experience, is it possible to have an ARS AND the results can change between the (10.4) week and the 12 th week?
3) On the websites, some people say that the final test should be done on the 12th week (84 days) and others say after 90 days?
4) According to you, am I safe and can I have relations with my partner because since what happened I hesitate to approach her?
5) I've read some Publications here where you ask me not to test several times to avoid having False Positives?

6) Can the fact that the 2nd person was tested after 4 weeks (Antibodies) give me any clues that the 2 of us are safe and not infected?

7) Are the STI tests I've done sufficient or do you recommend others?

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be glad to answer your questions.  I have deleted your other question as it was unnecessary.  Please follow our guidelines and stay within the word limit for any future questions or follow-ups to this question.  There should be no need to start a new question.

The encounters you describe were relatively low risk and most importantly, your tests prove that you were not infected.  There is no need for further testing.  You can be completely confident that you do not have any of the infections that you tested for.  In reply to your specific questions:

1) Are my results conclusive or do I really need to do an additional test?
All of your tests are entirely conclusive.  No further testing is needed.  Additional testing would be a waste of time and money.

2) In your experience, is it possible to have an ARS AND the results can change between the (10.4) week and the 12 th week?
No!  The ARS occurs within 30 days of an exposure and when a person has had the ARS, their tests for HIV are positive and remain so.  Your negative tests prove that you have not had the ARS.

3) On the websites, some people say that the final test should be done on the 12th week (84 days) and others say after 90 days?
The internet is not a reliable source of information.  All testing performed more than 6 weeks following an exposure are conclusive. There is no need for additional testing.

4) According to you, am I safe and can I have relations with my partner because since what happened I hesitate to approach her?
Yes, it is safe for you to have unprotected sexual contact with your regular partner.  You are not infected and cannot transmit anything acquired from the two exposures you describe to her.

5) I've read some Publications here where you ask me not to test several times to avoid having False Positives?
This is untrue.  Believe your test results'

6) Can the fact that the 2nd person was tested after 4 weeks (Antibodies) give me any clues that the 2 of us are safe and not infected?
Yes, it proves that she could not have given you HIV.

7) Are the STI tests I've done sufficient or do you recommend others?
There is no need for additional testing

I hope this information is helpful.  You have proven you were not infected by the exposure you describe.  There is no need for further testing.  EWH

Thank you Doctor for your precise answers
You said that my results were conclusive at 6 weeks, whereas the tests I did were just 3rd generation antibody tests! Is it really the same thing?

Tests for HIV antibodies are conclusive at any time more than eight weeks following and encounter. Your tests taken at 65 days and beyond are conclusive. No change in my assessments.  EWH---

I'm back Doctor for My Last Question And I Thank You Once Again For Your Service.

For the 2nd exposure Since the Person had Sexual relations a week with his partner before our report. Is this Point not disturbing? And should the window period of my tests be reset to that of my 1st intercourse? Or does the fact that she tested 4 weeks after our relationship and the results were negative even with the 3rd generation tests mean that I have nothing to worry about?

The fact that your partner tested negative 4 weeks after your sexual encounter with her assures us that she was not infected and could not have infected you.  I urge you to accept your test results and that you have not been infected by the encounters you describe.  It is time for you to put your worries aside and move forward.

This completes this thread.  EWH
