Helloo Dr
About 11 days ago I went to a massage parlor. I’ve visited the same masseuse maybe 5 times in the past 6 months because I figured she was clean and never had a problem before. I recieved protect oral protected intercourse and an unprotected rim job. The day of I shaved so I had a small cut around my anal area. She performed the rim job with no visible sores on her mouth for about 10 min. 4 days later I started to feel something heavy by my anal area so i immediately started to panic. Started to feel a tingling sensation all over my genital area. Later on throughout the night I felt something crawling up my anus. Now 10 days later I still feel the same symptoms along with left testicle pain. I know Dr H and Dr Clark said in their 30 years in the business they have never seen a case where someone has recieved a std or herpes from a rim job. I hope I am not one of those rare cases I read you guys posts and I have peace of mind but than I go to Dr Google and my anxiety triggers because all the symptoms they say comes with herpes I am having. I been checking for sores and legions every single day it’s day 10 Now and I figured I was in the clear but just seen a small white patch on the end of my penis shaft by my public area I inspect the area every 30 min. Do I need to go get tested also I wanted to ask am I able to sleep with my partner or should I get tested first I thought I wouldn’t be able to catch anything from a rim job please let me know

We know that people can acquire HSV genitally from receiving oral sex - that is almost 100% HSV 1.  HSV 1 can be transmitted to a sex partner through receiving oral sex even when a lesion is not present on the mouth.  So whether this is also possible from receiving a rim job is unclear.  You aren't describing lesions which one would expect if you had acquired HSV.  And those should have shown up within 10 days of the contact.  You may wish to have the white area you are describing evaluated by a clinician in person.
Have you ever had cold sores in your lifetime?  If the answer is yes, then it would be extremely unlikely for you to acquire this same virus in a new location on your body.
