[Question #11456] Does this sound like an STI and should I get it shown?

Hi Doctors!
I'm sorry to bother you again with this, but I had previously asked several questions about oral HPV related to a girl I had deep kissing and frottage with six months ago who had previously had cervical cancer. I am unvaccinated from HPV. (27M) Have never had penetrative sex but indulged in frottage through underwear.
Recently I spotted a small white patch on the neck of my penis and there is discoloration. The region is smooth painless, itch less, not raised and doesn't cause any problems with retraction. I just happened to notice it was there today. Looks like a small white patch. Was wondering if this sounds like any STD/STI you've heard of? Would a dermatologist be an appropriate doctor to show this to? Or a urologist/anyone else?
Requesting your help! Thank you so much!

I do not see your previous question to review the response however there is no meaningful risk for acquisition of HPV from the activities you describe (frottage with underwear on and deep kissing). While we do not make diagnoses on the forum, the white patch you describe does not suggest HPV or any other STI. If you wish to get a firm diagnosis, my advice would be to have a dermatologist take a look. EWH---

I've had two lifetime kissing partners, and on both occasions we deep kissed, I kissed and licked her body and breasts and dry humped through underwear. No oral sex or penetration.
My last encounter was 6 months ago with a cervical cancer survivor and since then I've been very paranoid of oral HPV.
I recently got an orarisk HPV genotype salivary test done. (like 4 days ago). Since taking the test I've developed a sore throat that's lasted for 3 days now and I noticed a bump on my hard palate that I think wasn't there before but can't be sure.
The test came back negative for any strain today and left me confused. Is it possible I had dormant HPV and it manifested in the 3 days after I took the test? If so should I take the salivary test again with the bump?
I've also had Cobblestone throat for like a month now and some gastric issues. Was wondering if you think my situation sounds consistent with something sinister like ARS or any STI?

Welcome back to the forum. I’m sorry you continue to worry unnecessarily about the possibility of acquiring HPV from deep kissing. The fact that a previous partner had cervical. cancer does not mean that she has oral HPV infection. Oral HPV infection is much less common than genital infections. In addition, transmission of HPV through deep kissing is very rare if it occurs at all. You are worrying unnecessarily.
The bumps that you have noted on your throat are unlikely to be HPV.
Salivary test for HPV are not available in North America. This is at least in part because they appear to be unreliable. I cannot comment or help with the interpretation of your test results.
We do not make diagnosis on the forum however, if you are concerned about this lesion, my advice to you is to see an ear nose and throat specialist. I am confident that an ENT specialist will be able to help you more questions on this fo all rightrum. EWH.
