[Question #11607] Informational questions

Good evening!
Following the advice received in the previous thread, I performed a test for chlamydia and gonorrhea, 5 days after exposure the results were negative. I think they are conclusive??!?
A. I know that the chances of being infected with syphilis, as it happened to me, are small (negligible), especially since I also took 200 mg of doxycycline 30 hours after exposure, but can you tell me for informational purpose,  what are the symptoms , swollen lymph nodes etc,  and after how long the chancre appears and where it appears, on the penis, on the scrotum?!!
B.Also for HIV, what are the symptoms, how severe or mild are they and on average how long after exposure do they appear??!
C. You said in the previous thread that hepatitis B occurs rarely in heterosexual relationships, but what would be the percentage of infection in heterosexual cases and what are the symptoms (I read that this infection/disease does not really show symptoms) and after how long can this infection be ruled out by tests?
Thank you for taking the time to read the questions and for the answers!
Have a nice evening!

I forgot to mention…. It's been 10 days since the exposure and I don't have any signs of genital herpes. Do you think the critical period has passed???

Your previous thread ended with this statement:

Please note the forum policy against repeated questions. This being your second, it should be your last; future ones would be subject to possible deletion without reply and without refund of the posting fee. This policy is based on compassion, not criticism, and is intended to reduce temptations to keep paying for questions with obvious answers. In addition, experience shows that continued answers tend to prolong users' anxieties rather than reducing them. Finally, such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's main purposes. Thanks for your understanding.

What did you not understand about it? I will reply very briefly and there will be no opportunity for continued discussion.

Your gonorrhea/chlamydia tests are conclusive.

A,B. Describing these symptoms would take a long time and the information is available online. Google syphilis symptoms and HIV (or ARS) symptoms.

C. There are no data, but few women have transmissible hepatitis B virus (HBV) and most people are vaccinated. For any single vaginal sex exposure, probably under one chance in a few thousand of catching HBV. Testing is valid within a few weeks after exposure. Search online about symptoms.

Herpes:  In over 90% of cases, symptoms start 3-5 days after exposure, but once in a while it can take as long as 3 weeks.

The same warning applies for future questions about your exposure and symptoms. Next time there will be no reply at all. Do your best to move on without worry; if you remain concerned, carefully re-read the information here and in your two previous threads.
