Good day. I would like to get your thoughts on possible HIV exposure. Im very careful and practice safe sex. I have never bottomed or topped to date however last week I hired a male sex worker for a erotic massage. This may seem slightly stupid but he rubbed his penis near my anus with aggressive frottage. I am pretty sure he never inserted but have some anxiety around it as there was lots of lube.  It was a few minutes and we ended up with mutual masterbation. I did ask him his status and he said he was negative. Am I being overly anxious from this sex.

Welcome back. Thanks for your continued confidence in our services.

This was a zero risk exposure, or close to zero, for HIV. First, people rarely lie about HIV status when asked directly. Assuming he did not seem evasive or hesitant in his response, you probably can safely believe he does not have HIV. And even if he does, HIV transmission is not at all likely without anal penetration. (And even very brief penetration really would make little difference.)

I see no reason for worry and no need to be tested for HIV (or any other STI) on account of this event.

I hope these comments are helpful.
