[Question #11660] HIV Risk

Forgive me if my questions seem stupid.
I visited a female sex worker last week. She asked me to lie down, put an eye mask on my eyes, and gave me a handjob. Nothing else happened.
If the eye mask was contaminated with HIV fluids from her previous clients when it was put on my eyes, do I need to worry about HIV? Can I move on with my life without HIV testing? I really hope my risk of HIV infection is zero.
If my questions are unclear, please let me know. Thank you so much for your help.

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your confidence in our service. I’ll be happy to comment. The encounter you describe did not put you at risk for HIV or any other STI. Masturbation is safe, no risk sex, even if a partner has infection. HIV and other STIs are never transmitted through transfer on inanimate objects including not only masks, soiled sheets or counter tops, or other inanimate objects. In the unlikely circumstance that your partner was infected, you are not at risk. There is no reason for concern and no need for testing. Please don’t worry. EWH---
