[Question #11730] Kissing and Massage

Hello

I had a massage with a girl 5 to 6 days ago.

Today my throat is irritated and has a cough with slight mucus. Have a cold - body is a bit weak. Clearly fighting some form of infection.

Activity - there was french kissing with the girl. Oral was fully protected on me at all times. I briefly gave her oral for under 5 seconds where i may have briefly for 5 or less seconds kissed her vagina but nothing more than 4 to 5 seconds.

No vaginal or anal sex.

Could this be oral gonorrhea i picked up?

I was not aware but just read on this forum about kissing but it is more from what i am reading between MSM. but i thought i would check if this throat and body weakness could be

If this does go away from me in the next few days - can oral gonorrhea be fought off on its own or do you need meds?

Should i for now abstain from regular sexual activity with my partner? this was a massive error in judgement.

I really thought i was being careful but apparently not.

Should i get tested?

Sorry i should say the mucus was only there in the morning first thing but the rest of the day, it feels more like a cold, as this morning after blowing out all the mucus - i have more off a cough than anything and my body does feel weak. I did have her body rubbing against my body and both of our bodies were naked during this time.

just FYI thank you

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be glad to comment. This was a low risk encounter.  Most commercial sex workers do not have STIs (your partner stated she get's tested regularly, she probably does), your receipt of oral sex was condom protected and thus virtually no risk, cunnilingus very, very rarely leads to infection of any sot, and French kissing again, like cunnilingus very rarely leads to infection.  For both cunnilingus and French kissing, the SSTI most likely to occur is gonorrhea.  Body rubbing ("frottage") is  a no risk event.

FYI, oral gonorrhea is most often asymptomatic and cough and mucous production are not signs of any STI.

I doubt your current symptoms are due to the exposure you describe. Further there are few complications from oral gonorrhea and oral gonorrhea is only very, very rarely transmitted to others.   In your position I would not worry or bother to test.  Many of our clients however appreciate the peace of mind that a negative test provides.  If you wish to test, the key test to get is a throat swab for gonorrhea;  if you shoose to test, I anticipate your results will show that you are not infected.

I hope these comments are helpful.  I hope your cold gets better quickly.  EWH

Thank you for this

Regarding meds, does oral gonorrhea go away on its own or do meds only help treat it.

I had a feeling it was a cold so this helps but my mind ran wild once i hit the internet.

Your guess is a cold as well and what did you mean by complications on oral Gonn

Thank you

Most oral gonorrhea does go away without treatment of a period of several weeks- as you might image, there are limited data on this.

Yes, my guess is a cold.  Complications of genital gonorrhea include epididymitis and transmission to partners.  These are not a problem for oral gonorrhea.

Thank yiu

One last question.

During the massage she licked my scortum a few times which was uncovered. From this action what risk is there from an std.
my penis was NOT licked unprotected rather the scrotum which had no protection on it.

Does her licking it change your assessment, not for oral gonnorhea rather any STD or overall risk.

What would you call this risk.

Thank you kindly

Having your scrotum or any other part of your body licked is a no risk activity.  No STIs are transmitted through licking.

No change in my assessment.

We provide up to three responses to each question.  This is my 3rd response.  Thus the thread will be closed without further responses.  I hope that the information I have provided is helpful.  Time for you to move forward.  EWH
