[Question #11795] Question about the Insti Test

Hello doctor,
I had the following exposures recently all within the span of 4 weeks- instances of mutual masturbation and hand jobs along with nipple licking and scrotum licking. On Monday I had some throat/neck discomfort and headache. Tuesday I felt completely better. However, today (Wednesday) I woke up with the same headache and neck/throat discomfort and ear pressure/fullness. I took an Insti 3rd generation rapid HIV test on Monday and Today (Wednesday) both came back negative. My questions are:

1. Are my symptoms consistent with ARS?
2. Does ARS symptoms come and go intermittently like my symptoms?
3. If it was ARS symptoms, would the INSTI test be positive?

Your last thread ended with this:  "Repeat questions are not permitted, especially when anxiety driven and when previous advice has been ignored. This being your third, it must be your last. Any future questions on these issues will be deleted without even this much reply, and without refund of the post fee." This is the only reply; no follow-up discussion.

1. Are my symptoms consistent with ARS? No, not typical. A common cold, allergy or something similar.
2. Does ARS symptoms come and go intermittently like my symptoms? No.
3. If it was ARS symptoms, would the INSTI test be positive? Yes.

Further questions about this exposure and your HIV concerns will be handled according to standard policy -- deletion with no reply at all. Experience has shown that repeated answers tend to prolong anxiety, not relieve it; and such questions have little educational value for other users, one of the forum's purposes. Thanks for your understanding.
