[Question #11848] HIV FROTTAGE + HANDJOB RISK

SORRY FOR THE REPETITIVE QUESTION. THIS IS JUST FOR GREATER CLARITY and a follow up to my last question. if my naked penis head uncircumsed engages in excessive frottage with a csw sex worker wearing thin lingerie and vaginal secretions touch the penis head. Followed immediately by a handjob by the worker. Would the vaginal secretions rubbed in during both frottage and hand job increase my risk for HIV and other STDS? Because two acts successively, can that increase risk? Do I need to get tested for other STDs and HIV? Can I engage in unprotected intercourse with my regular partner after this?

Welcome back to the Forum although I'm sorry you felt the need.  I reviewed your earlier interaction with Dr. Handsfield and agree with all he said, including "HIV and other STI bacteria and viruses are not transmitted through fabric; even "thin lingerie" probably would prevent it. And even if she were unclothed, rubbing her vagina on your penis would be little or no risk. Syphilis, HPV or herpes might be transmitted, but without penile penetration into her vagina, you were at little risk for any and all STIs. Hand-genital contact is risk free as well."

Thus:
Would the vaginal secretions rubbed in during both frottage and hand job increase my risk for HIV and other STDS?  Because two acts successively, can that increase risk?
No, that the two acts occurred immediately in sequence does not change the no risk nature of the interaction.  No risk + no risk still is no risk.

Do I need to get tested for other STDs and HIV?
There is no medical or scientific reason for testing.  If you choose to test to relieve your anxiety I understand but it is not necessary.

Can I engage in unprotected intercourse with my regular partner after this?
Already answered by Dr. Handsfield. The answer will not change.  There is no medical or scientific reason not to engage in unprotected intercourse with your regular partner.

I suspect you appreciate that these questions represent your acknowledged OCD more than anything else.  I hope my responses are helpful.  EWH

Thank you for the response doctor! A last question before I stop this for good. I had symptoms of my penis tingling sensations, indigestion and a bit of mucus discharge and some white discharge (once) ( I suspect this was due to my excessive harsh soap washing using harsh soap of my penis head and foreskin for weeks after this exposure that inflamed it it returned to normal once I stopped harsh soap usage).  I have tested for HIV post 99 days of exposure 4th gen and it came back negative. My only worries is the penis tingling , immense indigestion, diarrhoea and acidity  pimples and cysts over my face and body prompted me to worry if I need to test for other STDS.  If I had indeed unprotected intercourse without the csw not telling me whether she is clean or not, and if I had no contact with her after the exposure or no ways of contacting me. Would you recommend me to test for HIV or any other STDs? I am only simply trying to understand, as I see in these websites many times you don't recommend testing for HIV even for unprotected intercourse. I am only trying to understand is my risk exposure on the same level as penile penetration or is my risk much much lower?

An HIV test 99 days after an encounter is conclusive and will not change.  Frottage is a no risk event.  As I said before, no penetration no risk.

On occasion we have clients who are worried and looking for any sign of possible infection.  When they do, they tend to notice otherwise normal sensations, experiencing those normal sensations as "tingling" or "itching".  This may be what is happening.  Indigestion, facial and body pimples are not signs of STI although a rash may be a sign of syphilis.  You can be confident you do not have HIV.  You may want to test for syphilis although I anticipate that the test, which will be conclusive at this time will show that you do not have syphilis either.  EWH

Thank you for the prompt answer doctor. I dont want to get tested for syphilis unless you recommend it is absolutely necessary doctor. My rash never seemed odd and like just three four pimples in the same spot. Also do note that during all these acts I never felt any wetness on my penis. My OCD just makes me think I felt a wet lingerie. But I never felt any fluids or wetness on my penis head. With all these. Do you still think I absolutely test for syphilis? I only want to test if its a high risk for syphilis. My concern is only about HIV. Kindly advise doctor thank you.

Final response.  You are not at risk for HIV and have proven you do not have it.  Testing is always a personal decision.  Your risk for syphilis is quite low and I do not feel that you particularly need syphilis testing.

This completes this thread.  Take care.  EWH
