[Question #11927] HIV question

Dear Dr.
I've been reading questions and answers from your forum but decided to have a question for my own.
Condom protected with a CSW both oral and vaginal. If she was on me for a couple seconds and I decided to stop, no more penetration and the condom was intact, was there any risk of HIV or STDs. Do I need testing with this single exposure and resume normal sex with my spouse?

. Thanks for your questions and for your confidence in our service. Thanks as well for reviewing other forum, questions and answers. It is our intent to make this information available to help our clients.
Regarding your question, in our opinion most single encounters, particularly those that are condom protected, do not require testing. As you know, from reading our responses to others, most people, including partners who are commercial sex workers, do not have STI’s including HIV, And even when a partner is infected, most single encounters do not result in transmission of infection. Testing is always a personal decision. However, if you have no symptoms, and you are not particularly concerned about your partner, I seen no reason for testing following a single exposure.
I hope this information is helpful to you. If there are any specific questions, please don’t hesitate to use your to to follow ups for clarification. EWH.

Thanks for your information. I feel like it was safe sex with condom intact and CSW is free of STI including HIV as most do not have them. Sounds like the risk is virtually zero and testing is not required especially my particular case.

I agree with you. Personally, I would not feel the need for testing related to the exposure you have described. EWH---
