[Question #11969] What could it be?

On Wednesday around 3am I had an encounter with a woman I met. I used condom and had protected sex. On next day (thursday afternoon) I started feeling like my bladder was full. Painful bladder. Urge to pee just a slightly more than usual. But the main symptom is painful bladder. Today Saturday I woke up and I forgotten to shower the night before. I usually don’t miss a single day of showering. Before going into the shower I kinda touch my inner thigh are around scrotum and anus because I sweat often. I noticed something hard like bump, so I took my phone and took video. The lump is smaller than a pea size and its skin color, it’s about half inch down my scrotum and around the inner leg. I would have not noticed unless I did not touch in that area. Which I do often due to sweat. I noticed the lump did not had a head like a boil and it’s a bit hard I also  try poke it with nail to see if popped. It doesn’t bother me right now but I never had something similar there .

Welcome back to the forum and thank you for your continued confidence in us.

However, I can't help very much. You describe a sexual exposure with little or no risk for STD, largely because of the condom use. And none of your symptoms fits any STD. No STD causes bladder symptoms of any kind. Your skin problems also don't fit with any STD, especially with the symptoms starting soon soon. No infection of any kind -- STD or any other -- can cause any symptoms at all in under two days.

As to what IS the cause of your symptoms, I won't speculate. In your previous thread a couple of years ago, part of my reply included "We do not attempt to judge the causes of symptoms that are unrelated to HIV or other STDs," I'll only say that it seems likely that many or most of them are simply your greater awareness or concern over things you have experienced previously, probably because of anxiety or uncertainty about the sexual exposure. And they certainly do not sound serious. If they continue or you remain concerned, you should see a doctor in person. However, I see no need for concern about STDs or testing for them.

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thank you for your reply Dr. HHH. Yes two years ago, was really scary. I’m happy to  have a doctor like you giving assurance. Yes for the symptoms of bladder is less than two days. What about the bump below scrotum and inner thigh. That is roughly 3 days. I also had a cold too and a canker sore on tounge. I know rhe cold is unrelated but I wanted to mention it.

As I already said, "Your skin problems also don't fit with any STD." That includes the bump you describe. No STDs cause such a thing, and any "skin bump" cannot develop in under a week or two. This has nothing to do with your recent sexual activity.---
