I male deep kiss a female dancer in strip club, and tested after 24 days and 28 days twice all negative for all sti which include hiv, syphilis, hep B, C, G/C urine, G/C oral swap.
1. What is risk of any sti from kissing, do I need to test at all?
2. What is window period for test GC/CHLAM NAA - PHARYNGEAL SWAB? I am having sore throat now after 4 weeks related?
3. What is the window period for syphilis? Specific for test RPR? And T pallidum antibodies?

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your questions. I'll be glad to comment'
1. STIs are occasionally transmitted through kissing but this is a rare event which most often occurs when deep kissing is between men kissing other men. In that situation, there are rare instances in which gonorrhea has been transmitted from one person's throat to another. Theoretically, if one person who kissed another had a syphilis sore on their lips or mouth, then kissing might transmit syphilis as well. Both of these occurrences are quite rare however and there is little reason to test for STIs following kissing another person accept to relieve any anxiety that a person might have.
2. Gonorrhea and chlamydia nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT) are the most accurate tests for diagnosis these infections. Results of a throat/pharyngeal swab take 3-4 days after a possible exposure will be reliable and do not need to be repeated.
3. Syphilis blood tests such are the RPR test will detect most ne syphilis infections 30 days following an exposure and can be considered conclusive any time more than 6 weeks after a possible exposure. Some organizations suggest that testing is not conclusive until more than 90 days after an exposure but this recommendation is over 75 years old and doubtful
I hope this information is helpful. I would have little or no concern about the need for testing if my only exposure was kissing anohter person. EWH

Yes, deep kiss with female stripper is only exposure
1. I get fever and sore throat now, is it related?
2. GC/CHLAM NAA - PHARYNGEAL SWAB at 28 days for me is conclusive negative and don’t need to repeat?
3. RPR at 45 days will be conclusive if negative and don’t need to repeat later like 90 days?
4. Basically if you were in my situation, you won’t test at all?
Thanks

These follow-up questions are largely repetitive. Brief answers below.
1. No
2. Your results are conclusive. There is no reason to repeat the tests.
3. These results are conclusive there is no need to repeat the tests.
4. If I were in your situation, I would not bother to test at all.
You have one follow-up remaining. EWH

That is explained in response 3 of my original response. Those organizations are using older data more than 75 years ago. They are slow to change their out of date perspective.
This completes this thread. EWH
