Hello, I had  HIV test. This is my result 

[: HIV P24 Ag and Abs (HIV COMBO) 0.4 Non-Reactive. ]

The exposure was 3 months before the test.

• five hours before the test, I received an intravenous iron dose 200 mg.

• I use hormonal pills for my period

I have been using vitamins for a year. Biotin has 30 Microgram in it.

can iron infusion treatments affect hiv test results?

Are my results conclusive? Should I worry? Will anything I use affect my test result in any way?

Welcome to our Forum. Thanks for your questions.  I'm please to tell you that your 3 month HIV Combo tests results are conclusive and prove that you were not infected by HIV.  Neither your iron infusion, your oral contraceptive pills, or biotin ingestion will impact your results.  You can believe your test results and there is no need for further testing related to your past exposures.  EWH---

Just to confirm, I did one test, my exposure was in May and the test was in August. Iron injections have no effect at all even if you take them at the same time, right? That's all I have for questions. Thank you and may God bless your efforts.

Your summary of my reply is absolutely correct.  Your negative test is proof that you were not infected with HIV.  Please don’t worry.  EWH---
