Hi,
I am 35 year old male. Who 7 days ago had a sexual encounter with an escort. This was mutual masturbation, fluids on hands probably transferred to penis. Unprotected oral deep throat for 10 mins.
My questions are
1. What would be exposure for all stds be on this basis. I
2.:reference hpv both I and my partner were virgins when we met. What is the likelihood that I will have got how either on one is or in mouth from this encounter.
3. Also with hsv- I can’t recall having Cold sores before. What is my risk of getting have on my penis from this even . If you could provide estimated odds for this.
4. For hsv and gov what should I look out for
5. I took doxycycline 200mg per day for 1 week now. Will this help with bacterial std? And do you recommend testing

Welcome to our Forum. Thanks for your questions and for your implied confidence in our service. I'll be glad to comment. This was a low risk encounter. Most CSWs, particularly those who charge in the higher price range do not have STIs. If anything they tend to test regularly and practice safe sex. Further, receipt of masturbation is an absolutely no risk sexual encounter and receipt of oral sex is amongst the lowest forms of penetrative sex, In response to your specific questions:
1. What would be exposure for all stds be on this basis. I
See above. The primary STI you are at risk for is gonorrhea from receipt of oral sex. If you had acquired gonorrhea there is a more than 90% chance that you would have developed obvious symptoms by this time and the doxycycline you took not only eliminated all risk for syphilis and chlamydia but further reduced your risk for gonorrhea by about 50%. In your situation I would have no worries and probably would not even both to test. HIV is not transmitted through receipt of oral sex
2.:reference hpv both I and my partner were virgins when we met. What is the likelihood that I will have got how either on one is or in mouth from this encounter.
HPV is rarely transmitted through oral sex. There are no reliable tests for HPV in men. Your risk is very low.
3. Also with hsv- I can’t recall having Cold sores before. What is my risk of getting have on my penis from this even . If you could provide estimated odds for this.
HSV-2 is almost never acquired from receipt of oral sex. Even without a history of cold sores there is about a 50% chance you already have HSV-1. If you do not and were exposed, your risk of acquiring HSV is less than 1 in 1000. I would not worry unless you develop obvious herpes lesions on your penis. Testing in the absence of lesions (i.e. blood tests) is not advised
4. For hsv and gov what should I look out for
See above. Persons who acquire HSV and develop lesions develop their initial herpes outbreaks within 10 days of exposure. Your risk of HSV as explained above is close to zero.
5. I took doxycycline 200mg per day for 1 week now. Will this help with bacterial std? And do you recommend testing
I see no need for testing at this time. The doxycycline you took eliminates the already miniscule risk for syphilis and chlamydia.
I hope this information is helpful. EWH
