[Question #12150] HIV/STD's

Thank you for you service. I'll try to be brief.
I went to a massage center, therapist was Filipino transgender. I was laying on my chest face down and she started licking my anus. First it was soft then it became more intense and started feeling like something is going inside. I got scared and I started trying reaching her head with my arm to make sure it's her head which I did twice. She thought I wanted to penetrate her and asked me to put a condom which she gave me but I wasn't planning to. She gave oral for 20 sec, no intercourse happened, just rubbing penis to penis.
After showering and extremely thoroughly washing my anus I started doubting that she may have penetrated me because of that feeling I had while I thought she was rimming me. Is it possible that I could have been penetrated while I thought it was rimming? I was penetrated only once 20 years ago so I forgot how it feels.
I contacted her after and she swore that it was only rimming and that she pushed her tongue sometimes. The incident happened in Qatar and it's a country where foreigners need to test for HIV and other diseases to get work permit but only the first time they enter.
Based on what I described do you think penetration happened (even tip of penis?
If it happened what's my risk of hiv if no ejaculation?
Which STDs I was at risk for?
I'm a male married. Please advice. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum.  Thanks for your questions.  I'll be glad to comment.

We regularly receive questions from persons who are worried that commercial sex workers may have performed more sexual activities than they acknowledge or have intentionally exposed clients to STIs without disclosure. To not mince words, this is nonsense.

Rimming is a virtually no risk event. Not for STI, not for HIV.  I encourage you not to worry.  If you feel the need, test for the reassurance .  Tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia will be definitive at this time.  Test for HIV and syphilis will be conclusive any time more than 6 weeks after your exposure.  Please don't worry.  EWH

Thank you Dr. Hook for your response. I understand that you see this as an anxiety but it's stronger than me, I cannot do anything. I will test in 6 weeks. But in the meantime, having an answer to the questions that are destroying me would help.
I know you are an STD Expert doctor, but in the world of sexuality, could a man get penetrated (or just by the tip of the penis) while he thought it was a rimjob? I know the tongue and penis are different in size and everything but could they produce the same feeling. I feel lost when I try to remember.

Another detail that really increases my anxiety is that after I showered and thoroughly washed my anus with soap I started feeling some weird sensations in my anus such as burning and sometimes like the need of pooping, because I kind had a bit of diarrhea the day after, I don't know if it's linked.

Also, minutes before the incident I had an urge of pooping but I didn't go and it went, could this also be linked?

Please try to clarify for my questions because I'm so worried as one person told me that if someone gets penetrated then he will feel like the need of pooping and that it comes off by itself.

If your partner had inserted his penis, even a little, you would know it. The sensation is very different from the sensation of rimming.

Whoever told you that following an open penetration, you would have a sensation of needing to move. Your bowels is incorrect.  That sounds like some of the Internet based misinformation that we spend much of our time trying to correct.

FaceTime already sent, if you are concerned, negative negative test may be helpful to you. EWH

Thank you Dr. Hook, I will follow your advice not to worry and will test in 6 weeks for reassurance.

Just a clarification please, the person who told me about the need of going to the toilet actually said that poop would be slipping out unintentionally. I'm not sure if you still consider this incorrect?
Is it possible that those weird sensations I felt after the shower could be from anxiety and too much focus on that area?

Last question: I don't understand what you meant by facetime already sent.

I appreciate your help. Thank you

The person who told you that stool would unintentionally slipped out of your rectum, following receipt of rectal intercourse was incorrect. As you suggest, I think you may have been focused too much on looking for symptoms. This is not unusual in such situations.

I’m not sure why the words” FaceTime already sent” were present in my reply. I apologize. EWH.
