Hello doctor, I am so scared of having NGU or chlamydia. I asked my question few times here it is again. I had the unprotected oral exposure on October 4th. I took 1 g of azithromycin on October 9th. I had sex with my wife on October 10th. I got scared and anxious so I went to LabCorp and got tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea on October 14th. Both of those tests came back negative. Today I saw a slight discharge which was cloudy looking in the morning and I have mild burning while peeing. At the same time I have burning feelings around the inner thighs and anus area. I never heard loose tools in my life and I have been having loose stools multiple times a day for last 2 weeks. Now I'm confused as to is it chlamydia is it ngu or is it prostatitis. Your health on this is you will be very well appreciated. Thank you doctor.

Today is 23rd day after the exposure. Just making sure I provide the timeline. I am so scared that I might have given something to my wife before the treatment worked and got it back from her. Is that a possibility with ngu ?

I'm not sure why you have returned to the Forum a 3rd time.  Repeating your anxiety-driven questions is not going to change my response.  You need to believe your test results and move forward.  Your symptoms most likely represent your heightened awareness of normal sensations because of your anxiety.  Further testing will not change the results.   If you are concerned about prostatitis, then see a urologist.

We do not permit repetitive, anxiety-driven questions.  You have two follow-ups after which the thread will be closed.  Should you return to the Forum with additional questions your question may be closed without a esponse and without return of your posting fee.  EWH

I am so sorry to be annoying but last thing. The reason I am Being paranoid is because I had sex with my wife right next day after taking 1g azithromycin. That's why I am paranoid about passing something back and forth. I would never bother you if I was not anxious or paranoid.  I understand your frustration sir but please reply to my concerns about passing the infection back and forth because I don't know if azithromycin would have worked in 24 hours for ngu or chlamydia.

The azithromycin you took 24 hours earlier would have prevented you from transmitting an infection in the unlikely circumstance that you were infected.  You have one reply rema.  EWH---

Acquiring chlamydia from receipt of oral sex is very, very rare.  Non- chlamydial NGU acquired from receipt of oral sex is not transmitted to partners and is not a risk.  You are worrying needlessly.  This completes this thread.  Please do not return to the Forum regarding this encounter.  EWH---
