[Question #12213] HPV/STI transmission after receiving Handjob/fingering in Massage

Hello,

I was concerned, i got a handjob and fingered from a Massage parlor lady. She was fully clothed, no genital-to-genital contact. No other sexual act.
Should I be worried for contacting or caching any STI/HPV.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your confidence in our services.

Hand-genital contact does not transmit HIV, HPV, or any other STI -- or so rarely the risk can be ignored. In my 50 years in the STI business I've never seen or heard of a patient who was infected in this way. This is true even if genital fluid or saliva are used for lubrication. Not enough STI bacteria, viruses etc can be carried over to result in infection. You do not need to be tested for any infection and if you have a regular sex partner you can safely continue your usual sexual practices without worry. (We get versions of this question a few times every week. If you would like to see other discussions, you can find numerous other replies by using the search function to look for things like "hand-genital contact" or "masturbation" as text words.)

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.
