[Question #12254] Male Frottage/protected oral
9 months ago
|
Hello, while i am embarassed to be back i need some help. I engaged in protected mutual oral with a trans sex worker (condom on protected bj/oral sex both ways), with the exception of us sucking eachother's scrotums/balls which i suppose is technically unprotected . We also engaged in frottage (rubbing/grinding penises together).
lastly, i rubbed my protected (condom covered) penis on their anus briefly, but with no insertion whatsoever.
So in summary, brief unprotected frottage (penis on penis rubbing WITHOUT condom), protected blowjobs, scrotal/ball sucking which was mouth to scrotum, and deep kissing.
My main concern is for syphilis due to the skin to skin contact involved in frottage/grinding. No visible lesions or chancres on either of us.
Please advise on level of risk and whether treatment/testing is necessary?

I'm sorry, but we still strongly prefer to review previous posts before responding to new ones. Twenty years' experience has taught us that there often are connections we consider important even if the user does not. That's the main reason duplicate accounts are not permitted. Thank you for your understanding.---

While you're digging out that information, I can say that you describe a sexual experience with little or no risk of any STD. All condom protected events were zero risk for any and all infections. If that includes the penis-penis frottage that was no risk; same for penile-anal contact. The only plausible possible minor risk, as you directly mention, is the oral-scrotum contact. However, oral contact with skin is entirely risk free anywhere on the body; the skin of the scrotum is no more susceptible than skin anywhere else. I do not advise any testing at all.
Perhaps more to say when I know more about your previous question(s).

Dr, i appreciate the due diligence you and your team prractice. I am unfortunately unable to regain access to my old posting account as i shut down the email tied to it. My previous questions were surrounding unprotected oral sex with me being the one performing it. this was months ago and unrelated to this question.
to clarify, and apologies if this is not necessary, the penile to penile frottage was UNPROTECTED, meaning it was in fact bare skin to bare skin contact WITHOUT protection, which i previously understood to carry risk for syphilis given it was skin to skin contact.
I was confused by your wording of "if that includes penis-penis frottage" after your statement of "all condom protected events were zero risk for any and all infections".
The penile-penile frottage was unprotected, so i am unsure if that is an added risk and warrants testing/treatment.
i did request a pennicilin shot to be preemptive in any treatment of any possible exposure, with my main concern being syphilis due to the skin to skin contact involved in the penis to penis frottage. is this unnecessary in your expert opinion? in an effort to not take unnecessary treatment, i will await your further instruction before i undergo this.

I don't see a reason for confusion: I clearly said that if your penis was condom protected, penis-penis contact is risk free. What's the mystery?
In theory, penis-penis contact might transmit gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis or other STDs if the two meatuses (penile openings) were directly opposed. This has never been studied but hthe risk undoubtedly would be very low.
I would advise against penicillin or any other antibiotic in this situation; if you came to my clinic with such a request, we would refuse it. (The only STD it would protect against would be syphilis; no benefit for chlamydia, gonorrhea, or of course HIV. I do not even advise STD or HIV testing.

Dr. Huntsfield, i apologize if my posts were unclear. the penis to penis contact was NOT protected as i've stated a few times now, given the statement of unprotected frottage.

I thought my initial reply was clear, again apologies if not. I do not intend to waste your time or resources, only gain an educated expert's opinion on my situation and make more informed decisions from here on out. my initial reply was:
to clarify, and apologies if this is not necessary, the penile to penile frottage was UNPROTECTED, meaning it was in fact bare skin to bare skin contact WITHOUT protection,
I never said that the penis to penis contact was protected, and in my summary stated so as well.

I'm not sure why you're having trouble understanding my replies. Perhaps an English translation problem? I clearly stated my understanding that the penis-penis contact was unprotected. And I explained the STD risks it might have involved.
