Welcome back, but I don't understand why you're here. These questions were answered -- or the answers are obvious -- in your just completed discussion with Dr. Hook. You did not need testing -- there was no possibility of HIV, HBV, HCV, or any other infection from the event you described there. All HIV tests, regardless of test generation, are conclusive before 90 days. There are no medications or medical conditions that have any effect on reliability or timing of the blood tests you had.

So all is well. Have no more tests of any kind. You can safely continue unprotected sex with your wife.

Best wishes--  HHH, MD

Dear doctor
Sorry to back again
I have talked to the lab asked about the rest type for HIV they said that they used plasma for Cassette test I think it’s something like the rapid test if it’s not the same
The problem when he asked me about the reason and the period and I confidently told him that I know about the window period of 3 months
He said who told you ? The window period in MY BE ONE YEAR !!!!
what should I do ?

I've never heard of "cassette" test. These additional comments do not change my opinions or advice about test timing. A one year window for HIV testing is nonsense. You don't have to take my word for it. Explore places like CDC, WHO, Canada Public Health, the guidelines of the European Union, the British Association of Sexual Health and HIV, the Australia guidelines, and more. They all have the same HIV test window period guidance as we do on this forum.

And you were not at risk for HIV anyway.

That concludes this thread. Please note the forum policy against repeated questions on the same topic, especially when anxiety driven. This being your second, it must be your last on these topics. Excessive ones are subject to being deleted without reply and without refund of the testing fee. Thank you for your understanding.
