Sorry Terri Had a glitch with the app, I am Manny returning with the guy who posted on “hsv part 2” you said to purchase another question for them to be answered would you please be able to answer them on here. Also I have developed some new symptoms past few days, I know you all hate the anxiety driving questions, but with new symptoms seems reasonable. So If these can also please be answered as my second follow up question. On the encounter I had 31 days ago, I have some new worries now for oral herpes as well not just genital. Let me start with the genital symtpoms 3,4 days ago noticed redness on penis head and the foreskin by the back side on the bottom mainly, noticed my penile raphe I believe its called looks red and slightly bumpy, but I do not believe they are blisters, does not hurt at all. And the. Yesterday felt some pain parts here and there almost like stinging , and some slight itchyness, I still do not see any visible bumps, 1) what could this be? 2) could I be experiencing a second recurrence and is slighty better now?

Now Today I woke up with something weird 31 days after the encounter that involved making out mutual oral with male, and and protected anal sex, I noticed two slight looking white spots on lips, now they are barely noticeable but still may be there, and about an inch or so over by my lips there is some redness that looks irritated, feels slightly weird  no redness on lips, my gf even noticed  the redness a little away from the lips said it looked irritated. It has been there since 11 hours ago, no blisters around it. Felt maybe some slight itchyness around it now. I guess I will wait and see if it continues to develop. 2) does this sound like oral hsv1 or possibly hsv2 from having given him oral 3) 31 days after encounter does that seem to long to be noticing this by now? 4)i read online on many sites claiming that protected anal/vaginal only protects men about 30%-50% that it protects women way higher and many are medical sites. That is freaking me out, what is your take on this? Now I am wondering if. i did acquire it, and maybe am not protected as much as I thought? 5) what are the chances that I have both hsv1 on lips and penis, and they are coexisting in a sense in terms of these super weird symptoms?6) if the redness js herpes how soon after should I develop blisters in that area a little away from the actual lips?

7) Terri also on. One post you stated if you have hsv. 1 orally it is very rare to have get it genitally , but on another said you can get it in both sites. I understand in theory it is of course possible to have hsv1 on both locations but what are the chances I caught it or one to catch it on the same act? Or just overall have it on both locations the same strain

Hello sorry to bother but it has been almost 5 days since my post, and I have developed even more scary symptoms, but don’t want to put them until other questions are answered, don’t want to over ask before these are answered. I completely understand if Terri is busy, it is the holidays, but maybe Dr Hook or Handsfield can chime in, since they have been active?

HSV 1 can happen in both sites, yes,   but without genital lesions, I still think HSV is very unlikely in your situation.  Itching could be due to anything.
Once you have HSV 1 orally it is extremely unlikely that you will get it genitally, correc.t
If you have other symptoms, please share them.  But you continue to ask the same questions repeatedly and I have the same answers each time.

Terri since this is my final follow up just wanna make sure I get all new symptoms in check. So after what I believe was the first outbreak a few weeks ago. I started feeling normal for a week or week and a half, and starting last Tuesday I develop redness on foreskin( around penile Ralphe) and on head of penis, whithin days started to feel stinginess on penis, and I also had biceps twitching, for 2,3 days going on here and there, and last Friday had a little on top of my eye twitch for a bit in a period of a few hours. Also I then started to feel a bit of pain on the sides maybe the hips, and some discomfort and slight burning during urination. Now the past few days is where I am almost convinced this has to be herpes, I had a lot of pain when doing number 2 , lasted 2 days really bad, and the third day got a little better, also woke up with a bit of maybe soreness in anal area. But literally the next day which was two days ago, I have had  I would say on a scale of 1-10 an 8 of pain on my left buttocks feels like the muscle, and it radiates to my leg a bit, but after Tylenol only that one remained. And starting maybe Sunday or Monday, I started to noticed white stuff has now appeared around the head of my penis . I have also felt slight burning on penis past few days. When I touch them they almost feel bumpy, but not much pain. I had balanitis, for months, until I finally went to a derm, and have been taking creams for it. I strongly believe that when I got the two oral encounters, it got in through that, and now this white stuff seems super similar to the balanitis, doesn’t look like typical lesions you see online, but why would it come back. I think this is now herpes.

I went to two dermatologists one said it looks like another flare up of the balanitis, and I went to get a second opinion two days ago, and I think this may have been the worst dermatologist ever, he seemed in such a hurry, and it sucked because he had amazing reviews, but he said it looked like penile papules, this clearly looks more like herpes or a yeast infection, the second dermatologist said to go see a urologist if you are having those nerve issues, could be my prostate, I am 33 years old. 1)What is your take on this? 2) should I go see another dermatologist or urologist? 3) why online does it say condoms only protect from hsv2 30% of the time, and men can catch it easier? Do you think I could have gotten hsv2 instead of 1? I am hoping if I caught it , it is only Hsv1?
What is  your stance or percentage of proper condom use with no breakage causing hsv2? 4) can antivirals help with the symptoms??5) dr Hook on several Posts says msm have a rat chance of getting hsv2 orally , can you elaborate more on this? Could I have been one of those?

6) also just can’t shake off the nerve symptoms, even with balanitis, it got mainly alot of itching, and some pain, but this feels a lot different, what are the chances I am also getting lesions in anal area?7) should I have a doctor examine it, if so is that something a derm would do? Check the anal area?

My take on this is exactly what it has been all along with your questions.  I do not believe that you have genital herpes.
If you have concerns that you are having anal lesions, you should have someone take a look.
You've had several people say they don't think what you are having is herpes, yet you continue to perseverate on this particular diagnosis anyway.
My final advice, and it is truly final, is that you should do a herpes western blot when you are 12 weeks out from the concerning encounter to see what you have or don't have.
I know this is worrying you, but we do have quite specific rules about anxiety driven questions, which truly these are.  Further posts will unfortunately be deleted.
